Hi Jo, I have big problems, my husband of 44 years suffers from Parkinson’s and dementia, yet I still have to ask myself” Do I wash my hair today ? What will go with this outfit? Should I try this skin care line,makeup,buy this coat……? I think this is part of every day life, don’t apologize.
I love that you admit you are a showoff..BUT.. you are sort of a humble showoff ..we all love you and I wish I had your confidence . I am 77 and have sort of given up on myself but you make me rethink things ..thank you so much !!

Jo, you need to trust yourself.Last year I was in a coffee shop in Clapham when I overheard some marketing people from a certain lifestyle company commenting at how popular their content is when you are on it ❤ The person they were talking to was delighted because she liked you but also because of your demographic being largely invisible in a the creator space and yet here you are growing all the time. 🎉

Your comment about finding all of your mother’s clothes that she kept for “best” was so poignant. The same happened to me when my mother passed away. I now wear anything I want at any time, after donating all of the beautiful things she had and never wore, just waiting for the right occasion , which never came.😢❤

Jo, I’m the same age, brought up in the same part of London and have been single for a VERY long time. So there a similarities but I’ve never been interested or had the money for fashion having brought up my family on my own. However I was ‘influenced’ by your recommendation for Margaret Dabbs products and I’ve now been buying them for years for myself and my daughter. I like to have a coffee and watch your vlog as I always find it interesting and as I visit London quite often look out for places you have recommended. You may not have the 1000’s of subscribers others have but I bet we are a loyal group that watch regularly rather than those that dip in and out
The Theory event was wonderful. I SO enjoyed it. You were brilliant - I even bought something that was sleeveless! It was also great to meet Anna in person and thank her for how she helped our Geordie the Bedlington and hear about our new Bentley the Bedlington!😀

Jo, you are the influencer I have been following longer than anyone else and it is because of your content, which I find interesting and relevant but also because I feel that you are genuine and honest. I know and understand that you have to make the vlog pay and I may be influenced by some of your content but what influences me most as a woman in her 60’s is that you are so relatable even though we lead very different lives so please do not change.
Incidentally I wore white trousers and hopped on and off the tube and overground all weekend and they survived pretty much unscathed mainly because I didn’t sit down!

Lovely Jo with reference to your podcasts I know you have said you want people who are a bit out of the usual successful women who everyone is doing but considering what you said about the people you spoke to at your event and some suggestions some people have said here like the flower lady etc I feel sure we would be just as interested in their stories, everyone on that train or bus...the older the better...will have a life story and lessons for all of us xxx ❤

Before swimming put coconut oil in damp hair. It acts as a treatment and will protect your hair from the chlorine in the water. It really helps and you can get away with not washing it.
Please please don't have a short hair cut you look so much younger and fresh with this length ❤
