Right at the beginning is Princess Estelle excited or what? This is a truly beautiful moment visually and it sort of looked like mum and dad were going to hold her hand. I know I am possibly hallucinating here. Amalia like her mother takes your breath away with her grace and beauty. They all do actually. Damn I could go on and on for days.

Most of their money comes from there and their jewels in many cases belong to the people. Also we could end up with an 'Emporer's New Clothes' situation should we take away their clothing. With so much of the world in turmoil, even on the brink of death and despair, and to 'see" those kids ( and parent fan base) who, merely by having the luck, yes, the LUCK, of being, born into insulated, bottomless wealth, the best quality of food and recreation, is both offensive and reprehensible. Time to abolish all monarchies - monarchies are exactly the same as dictatorships.
Envy is an ugly emotion.
This is a very surface oriented and bigoted opinion. Monarchies have a wide range of involvement in betterment of their country and industry influence, and of draining coffers and being expensive...or not. Dictatorships by their nature involve brutal oppression. I've been to NL for weeks at a time and did not feel as oppressed as I feel in America.

Happy birthday to the Prince. At the end, the table of royals, the young ladies are all so beautiful, and the young men look uninteresting. Perhaps they were seated together to mingle, but I don't think the princesses are interested.

It's great to see these young beautiful princesses in their full regalia and their tiaras but I think Princess Amalia of the Netherlands should be giving her own tiara or tiaras instead of wearing tiaras worn by the Queen of the Netherlands and also I think Princess Amalia tends to dress to grown-up. The dresses she is wearing are not for young ladies although it appears as if she is wearing these dresses as they tend to cover her weight which look perfect to me but in the European mind set, being a full size woman is not acceptable.
I love her fashion sense. Her trip to Curaçao etc you got to see her in a variety of outfits, always looking stunning imo.
I also think one should wear a cape any chance one gets. Perhaps you think of a cape as old ladyish.

@@kholowedalmold3394, of course they attended. Prince Joachim is the Queens son, and his children are the Queen’s grandchildren. The oldest son did not attend because he is studying in school in Australia and the long travel time would have taken too much time away from his studies.
