Something that took be back to the late 70's recently was the Iceland £1 crispy pancakes. Proper good old comfort food, and glad they've been brought back. I had the cheese and ham.

Totally agree Deano,cheese and ham toast topper is another of been trying to source. Think asda done it but not now. Brought up on it for supper. Crispy pancakes lovely an Bernard Matthews used to do turkey breast burgers which you got from farmfoods. Delicious. Nice one Deano👌

I use yo love ham with they are back on the market but instead of a piece of cheese inside its little dots of cheese dotted over the ham not the same I won't buy them now and the turkey drummers are not the same the turkey is little dots of turkey pressed together I bought them and didn't like them won't get them again I used to love them with chips and baked beans they made a nice cheap tea in the 90s

Convenience food. Much rather have some real chicken, 500 gms of Chicken drumsticks for a £1 at Morrisons.
When you say cjhildhood nostalga this comes to me when i see the Vesta Chicken Chow Mein on th esupermarket shelf. It's not eh taste it;s the memory of having whatt we believed was exotic suisine.
