- Snowboarder Pierre Vaultier's dream comes true as he builts the ultimate snowboarding pump track in the French ski resort Serre Chevalier Briançon.

Last July, the rider of Serre Chevalier decided to embark on a new challenge: build the pump track of his dreams, and invent the boardercross 2.0. The track consists of a 250m long line composed of fifteen modules with a tower that rises to 5.50m. Now that's a pump track!
Pierre Vaultier is a two-time Snowboard Cross World Cup winner and Olympic champion.

So satisfying the sound of board hitting snow
Nathan Benson folly
We would probably be friends
I agree best sound in the world of snow
@@jackcoles4935 nope all real
2:50 the guy in the red got so scared haha
Nicely spotted 😂
@@JayBeeFM just saw something moove and went back xD
Haha, he's fine...we promise! 😅
@@redbull 😂😂
hahahahhaha
That moment Red Bull just got too much money and doesn't know what to do with it ^^
Not that expensive to make...
Snow free tho
Kids be like "I don't understand the world but I think I do. Snow free" lmao
XDirter well when 8oz costs 2$ they probably make money hand over fist. I drink 2 12oz every day since 2000 I should probably own stock in Redbull...
Well said
Awesome … But I would have loved at least one continuous shot with that drone quarter angle looking back at the rider.
I was really expecting you to do it at the end. Oh well.
ImaCyclePath yeah, way too many cuts imo
its cause he never made it all the way in one shot
luke skywalker Hahaha... I’m going to assume you’re joking.
In case you’re not:
Pray tell... Where would you start midway on that run? Since they show him reaching the end... hmmmmmm?!?!?
@@imacyclepath440 its a pump track. so... anywhere.
luke skywalker Sure buddy... Anything you say boss. I’m sure you’re right.
Or. Perhaps? Maybe? Possibly? ... You’re wrong and you could just watch him board through it uncut.
czcams.com/video/T6LMFrgbOgs/video.html
Those jump cuts every 2 seconds look great! One shotting it would look stupid since you would actually be able to see what's happening.../s
Lmao I was thinking the same thing
Oh wow, glad you put the "/s" for sarcasm, otherwise I would have never guessed you were being sarcastic!

Exactly, this disease runs rampant in present day snowsports video production.
Judging by the editing one would think that the flimers and editors must not ride, and thus can't appreciate how someone who does ride would prefer to watch the line in uncut form, as one then gets a better sense of what it would feel like to be riding the line, which makes the viewing experience vastly more exciting. With a bunch of cuts the viewing experience becomes wholly uninvolving, boring really, if not tedious.
I hope the filmers and editors really get off on shooting multiple angles and making a gazillion edits, because the viewers sure aren't enjoying the end result.
The best is when they cut to and from GoPro footage, how involving. GoPro footage rarely gives the viewer any sense of scale, or sense of what's really happening. Most of it should be relegated to an extras menu if it's included at all, and then only in whole form. Just because you shot it doesn't mean the footage has any positive value.
Why the fuck has this shit become a thing? It's pathetic, the videos were better 20-30 years ago. The people involved must be mentally slow, or stoned out of their minds. I'll fix this shit after I take over the world.

Dang y'all really need to release a follow-up video which has one unbroken sequence from the drone. I feel like I am watching a video playing in the van in front of me and can't tell what's going on haha.
4:52 I may not know French, but I know “send it” lol
Bahaha.... I guess “send it” is like money....it’s a universal language 😂
YZMOTO #80 it doesnt refer to money
@Sylvanus... WOW 😳, IM SO GLAD WE GOT THAT CLEARED UP !
YZMOTO #80 🙃 its so much fun to trigger ppl
@Sylvanus...it has nothing to do with guns
"Getting good images was the priority, the best shots otherwise there no point in doing it." Damn some French snowboard guy just summed up my entire generation.
Would love to see the whole thing on one angle
So the line is all about flow, but every cut in the video is choppy and incongruous? Strange choice.
Was gunna comment something completely different but this made more sense. Good Looks hommie
I'd have liked to have seen one continuous shot really. Rather disappointed by the end product.
Stuart Doyle I thought that too for a sec, but I dig it
You are Talking out of my mind!
Probably because this is such a terrible idea that he could never do it in one go.
Who here's a snowboarder? Hands up if you think you can do this! 🙌
I would love to try,
🙌
Uh, no way.
I'd love to try aswell.
Why is this even a redbull thing? Anyone whose halfway competent at snowboarding can do this.
As an equipment operator, i say that is a work of art. Amazing, i love looking at the skill and passion these guys put in their snow ramps, and bike dirt jumps.
Amazing! Absolutely astonishing, huge work and very nice film!
We love our riders!
So cool. I love this project. A lot of love put into these ramps/kickers
I absolutely love this video. So calming. I've probably watched 4 times.
Truc de fou! Bravo!
Superbe et incroyable! Beau boulot
the question is how do you get off that end block
Jump back down in the transition and get off at the bottom, then climb down that jump cubicle?
@@tylernicholls917 it's easy a two meters jump so not easy i think he just climb down a ladder
poppamojo jump
I was hoping he would drop back in and pump his way back uphill
gap over that shit or butter across the top, spin out, dope. boarder cross fun but, ez and not too impressive
I wish with such an amazing flow, that they would have given us one continuous shot. THAT right there would have been the most amazing shot!
like this one czcams.com/video/5ud5T5I4XcA/video.html
I love the dedication you guys put into your work! Thats some tough work just for one short video segment. I am truly impressed, keep up the good work!
Only good thing about the filming is getting the sound of the board on the snow
That track is beautiful and your work is greatly appreciated
One word sums up this movie. “Dedication” 🤗
Goosebumps on the final run!!!!
Awesome jumps and work. They show everything but full runs of the guys riding.
Yeaa such a cool video!! Absolitely loved it
This video should have WAY more views. So cool!!
@Red Bull send Fabio Wibmer there with his MTB arsenal!
Definitely that’s would be sick
Sooo good. The snow the production the riding. 🤘🏻
❄️❄️❄️
100 years later
"this has to be a sign of alien existence"
4:15 “i couldn’t just let them do all the work alone, so i joined them and told them what to do” 😂
The making is even more epic than the riding) As for pump track concept, the perfect thing whould have been to have it loop on itself !
Inspiration from biking I see , very creative . Two thumbs up
Mad Respect.
That’s a snow sculpture, it’s beautiful !
Magnifique!
This was so satisfying to watch
That montage at the end is sick!!
Glad that you like it! 🙌
Bravo super idea
Génial !!!
I wish people put this much energy into helping others
Quand on le voir faire la ligne complète et imagine pas le boulot qui a été fait et on dirait que c'est simple tellement il fait normal GG à toute l équipes
Le travail de fou
Cette ligne est dingue c'est magnifique
So smooth
Looks so fun!
Just incredible
C'est magnifique😍
Wow that is a ton of work. Some nice camera work too! Great job
Almost appears as though the track allows for Pierre ride both ways. World class.
Crazy filming!! Thats probably the hardest part
THAT IS SO COOL!!!
最高!!! 遊び心満載!!!
Thats super clean
Looks fun, il play this on my NES sure
Suuuuper epic!!!
This is live action "Alto's Adventure"!
Wow that snow track formed naturally wow so cool
Wow this is so cool. Gj
The track is so amazing!
J’ai pu tout observer depuis le télésiège, c’est vers briancon je vais tout le temps la bas !!
Incroyable
Imagine how fun it has to be to have teams of people building amazing lines and ramps for the sole purpose of watching you shred them.
Sickkkk!!!
Ça a l'air tellement "simple" quand c est lui qui ride !!!.
9:01 for the actual run
A lot of wankage before that. xD
Soo satisfying
nice flow jumps
Props to whoever built that
That looks lit
Magnifique
Sick!
that looks super fun wish I could do it
I think this is the beginning of a new industry....Giant lego style block forms that can be assembled onsite by a few people. Then, packed with snow and disassembled to reuse elsewhere. I will get to work on this right away😎
That’s gotta be the coolest thing
that noise was really satifying
That’s freakin amazing
That looks fun
Rad dude
I love thus
spacca!
Literally just went to Serre Chevalier on my skl ski trip and saw that
I was there about 2 weeks ago and sadly it was almost all destroyed... But still really cool to see
yah, Serre Chevalier, been there snowboarding already!
Amazing
J’etait la quand il y a commencé ses figure sur les constructions c’etait ouf ❤️
7:14 this reaction is so cute oml
I skied past that last year 🤩
wish they had shorter versions of this like from the ground and only around 3 -4 blocks at most mountains, would be so fun to hit that on the way down
Ok that’s pretty dope
try fall repeat... I would love to try this!
Come on red bull great idea on the white font with a snow background....
Wtf those shapes are so perfect
loved it
that looks so hard damn
ExciteBoard!
Awesome jumps!
Je l'aime!
insane
I went skiing here in February and the sculptures still remained with loads of people asking what they were from!
incroyable
This was insanely cool. Im not tge best snowboarder, but id love to try something like this. 👍
Teşekkürler.
