Hi, Diana! Welcome back to your past! LOL! Your video inspired me to create some great video messages for my live stream last year. I'm trying to use it again, but it's not working the same way. There doesn't seem to be a link to Invite People to record their video message. Sharing the link to the design gives people access to edit the design instead of the simplified recording interface. I'm checking in with you, my Canva Guru, to see if you have any insights as why, but more importantly, how to use Video Messages in the current Canva environment. I will totally understand if you are stumped, too. I just thought I'd check with you as part of my investigation and troubleshooting! Any guidance you can provide would be appreciated!
Hi Vash! Thanks for the message. Unfortunately this feature is not working correctly atm. Canva knows about this issue and they are working on fixing it though the fix has an indefinite time. Hopefully they won't take long but I'd try another way to create this video message. Maybe giving access to your friends to the doc could be a solution.

Hi! Is this no longer working? I don't see the option to invite people. I found a collaboration link, but then they can edit the whole document. I loved the idea of them simply recording their one video. Would love to know if this still exists!

I just noticed there might be a bug with their invites - when i try to share the link and invite other people to the video - the url leads to the sign up page - which means people who have no canva account can't record. Do you experience the same issue? I already raised it with Canva. In case this is their new policy or UX - it will lead to loads of user drop off. How will i convice my 60 years old father to record a birthday message if he needs to create an account and sign up to a service he'll never probably use in his lifetime. Let me know your thoughts. Are you experiencing the same issue?
This is really good feedback Zoltan, and we'll make sure to pass it on to Canva. This feature is still very new and I'm sure they'll make it better in the future.
You neglected to give instruction about what the people you want to participate need to do. If we send to them in an MP4 format, can they edit and add their pics/voices?

Sometimes when I used curved text and save it, it doesn't show up on my images on the saved graphic. Have you every had this happen? Do you know why it happens? Thanks for these videos!!!
Hey Jenn, No, I never had that bug. Sometimes the platform has hick ups. If it keeps happening (even after logging off and back in), try to contact Canva via this link: bit.ly/message-canva
