When I look upon that lovely 1919 writing I'm saddened by the fact that we went from beautiful legible writing like that to the horrific chicken 🐓 scratchings of today's youths...at least the majority.

I can't read cursive at all, I prefer much simpler writing. Squinting at the paper to read squiggles hurts my eyes. But to each their own! 😄

The pump thing is for spraying insecticides on plants. The bi-plane was a Sopwith Camel. The Tri-plane is ( Andy’s favourite! ) a Fokker.
You are spot on with the spider my daughter who is now 30 used to watch it as a child and sang “spider in the bath” all the time lol,sometimes you need to go with your gut feeling about a house but you were fine, love your videos. I would have loved a job that when someone passes with no relatives sorting through their letters and paper work, and try and find a relative, sad I know but then again I am sad xxx

It is Emley in Yorkshire Matt. The advert in the brochure said Clayton West and my daughter lives there. It’s very close to Denby Dale and Wakefield.

Live in the USA. I know that when I was abit in the 70s the ceilings we either called stucco or popcorn ceilings. They were a true nightmare to get off so you could have a smooth finish. Prayers for Andy great job of raising the money you did to help in his down time. Take care

That pump is an old style watering can/ hose you’d fill them up from a water butt and then water your plants I had one as a kid which was my grandmothers 😊

The "brass piping" is a garden sprayer for spraying insecticides on plants
What my granny called a flit gun, was Flit a brand of insecticide? Seem to vaguely remember
I remember round the Twist Matt, and I remember the episode well where they all ran into the house for shelter. I also remember the monster growling in the cave episode. Good times 😂
