That “Having you only is enough” is one legendary confession from Ling Buyi, he so obvious but both father and daughter missed it! Also that “General Cheng, why are you here?” Meaning “I only wanted your daughter to come” 🤣
His words surely confusing for both of them..."If I want to take care of myself I wouldn't safe you." The father ended up said the wrong thing, " both of us mother and daughter..."😅😅
The bit when he tells her to take a seat but not her dad makes me laugh. It’s so obvious that he’s inviting her to stay and talk but completely ignoring her dad, as if to say ‘thanks for bringing her, you can go now’ 😂😂

The howling wind at the beginning of this snippet is like when belle walked into the cold dark castle looking for her father but this scenario is the father sending his daughter to the beast as a sacrificial offering. 🤣🤣

Cheng Shi is one of my favorite characters in this drama. He is more sentimental than most of the female characters...lol. He was also the only one always doting and spoiling Shaoshang.
Then we have Ling Buyi desperately trying to distance himself from Princess Yucheng in the presence of Shaoshang. He was so cool and manly with Shaoshang just a moment before. Now he's rattled at the thought of this nuisance princess invading his time with Shaoshang and what she may think of said princess personally visiting him. To add insult to injury, Fatty (his name in "Falling Into Your Smile") inserts his foot into his mouth revealing that the princess visits often. Just too funny.
This scene was just so hilarious. 🤣Laughing myself silly for father and daughter and Zhiseng looking like a vampire king. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 He scared them to death.
Can’t stop laughing when G Ling denies not knowing the Princess and A Fei corrects him…Ling’s facial expressions 😂😂😂

What the General goes through just to talk to her. That's all he wants. She is with him on his turf completely protected my him and his men, he has his chance to woo her and find out how she feels about him. Then those people show up and insult her and she runs away. Oh he was so angry.

I think Ling Buyi had planned to reveal his marriage intention to Shaoshang at this time. But there were just so many scene bombers! Not to mention that Yuan deliberately brought the Crown Prince, Princess Yuchang and Wang Ling to thwart any of the General's plans to get closer to Shaoshang. I think the frustration on Ling Buyi's part (and the sense of another rival after A'yao was already out of the picture) made him go for the sudden marriage proposal the very next chance he could get.
