Let’s be fair, Cyclops in the current meta is very situational. His skill sets need him to be paired with a good roamer or an assassin to dominate the early game. When you’re MG, games usually don’t last that long like how Gens game here. I’m not a Pharsa main but I strongly believe she is stronger than Cyclops in the current meta, great escape paired with great AOE ultimate.

I think cyclops can be pretty good. Very mobile and low ult cd. I never mained him but when I’ve used him Ice wand and concentrated energy was my go to.
If you truly understand the game and cyclops, you'll know that cyclops is definitely a part of the meta. Don't follow the flow and just think the hero needs to have at least one of the followings to be a decent pick in meta: many dashes, high damage, or durable with decent damage. Cyclops has one the best ability in the game - unlimited movement speed boost. The only other hero who has this ability is Aamon, and we all know he's op not only for his high burst, but also because of his ability to reposition frequently. Some may argue Aamon's concealment plays an important role here, but in reality his concealment is near useless in a clash since if he wants to deal damage he will have to reveal himself. Though I do agree the concealment is good for surprise attacks and escaping. Note: this is only for soloq because you can't rely on your teammate hence you'll need to stay alive. Whereas if you're in a trio or squad, sometimes it might be more beneficial to pick a high burst hero and trade a one for one.

Fred, Hilda & Hayabusa can easily break any back line. Cyclops will have a hard time surviving even though he’s the last to arrive to the fight, he can only kite them. I’ve played with and against this 3 hero lineup before and it’s very annoying to deal with in the fights. Fred & Hilda creates so many distractions and are so durable that Haya is able to go behind the back line and take out the mage / marksman. It’s not an unbeatable 3 hero lineup but it’s very annoying to play against.

In higher rank, most games ends early. So Cyclops works only if he's fed early or in late game.
