I have watched all the videos of Robins resting place & it is beautiful. This is the first time I've been taken around that stunning church thank you for that.
Andy was born in Manchester in 1958. Robin's first solo LP, "Robin's Reign" was made in 1969. He had several solo LP's in the 1980's. His last "50 St Catherine's Drive" was released posthumously. He also composed a philharmonic work, The Titanic Requiem, with his son ROBIN JOHN, (NOT Robin Junior) performed in 2012 just before he died but he was too ill to attend. The church is lovely and the churchyard so peaceful. It's a lovely little town. Andy was staying with Robin when he collapsed, in the part of his house with the red vine @9:41. Robin had the voice of an angel. He was on loan to earth for too short a time.
His voice was certainly unique. I loved him and the other BeeGees as well. He’s gone way too soon. Thank you for showing this beautiful place. I was around for BG’s “explosion” 😢❤. The bell ringing while you and us can hear them beautifully ringing v
I have visited Andy’s grave in Los Angeles but never will be able to visit Robin’s, so thank you for this video. Wish you could’ve gotten closer instead of using that weird lens though.
There is a much clearer video of Robin's grave taken by a gentleman named Wiggins. You can find it on CZcams. You might have to search a bit, but it is worth seeing. I have to say - I cannot believe that some think that Robin might be buried somewhere else. His death was in 2012 and there is a video of his funeral. I am shocked that rumors like that surface. Robin was very spiritual, he did love his home, which is right across the road from the cemetery. I believe he probably told his family where he wanted to lie in rest. He was a treasure for all ages, and his voice still brings tears to many of us. Let's remember him in peace and honor his memory. I am a loyal fan from America who has always loved the BeeGees, but Robin was my favorite and I pray his work will be remembered. If you listen to his own songs you will never forget his words and unique talents. He is one for the ages.
That is such an odd place for his grave. Only grave that seems to be on the road. I don't believe that is Robin's actual grave. I think that was put there for his fans.I believe Robin is buried in his lovely rock garden at home. RIP Robin. You are loved and missed by all.
There is no prohibition from burial on one's own property in the UK but there are many strict rules to be obeyed to do so. I see no reason why he wouldn't be buried in the churchyard.
@@mariondoyle9549 - Why do you say that? Why would it not be? You die, they bury you. The funeral was observed by much of the town and by fans and family from elsewhere. It's right across the street from his home that he loved and where he lived for almost 30 years so he no doubt wanted to be buried there. There is nothing "odd" about the grave site. There are other graves "along the road" unlike as the other comment here states. You can see them beyond the tree behind his grave. As a cemetery fills they begin burials in new areas such as his site. I have been there. It makes no sense not to be his grave.
@@monikahormiller5320 - It is close to his home, within sight. Many people come there all the time from all over the world so there is a lot of foot traffic that kills the grass. The town and churchyard itself is old, very peaceful and lovely. The headstone is pretty with a scroll on the back with names of some of the songs he wrote and made famous. What is wrong with a "simple" grave? He was humble and came from a family that started out very poor and they were often hungry. What do you expect, some big showy monument? He never flaunted his fame. The people of Thame found him to be a good neighbour and did not find him to be pompous so a simple grave is appropriate and probably what he wanted. There are many graves of people more famous than him and they are often just simple plaques or even unmarked. There is no reason that he would be buried elsewhere. Also, in the UK records are meticulous and if they say that is where he is....that IS where he is.
I loved Robins music his brothers, the Bee Gees were very successful, although I don't approve of this video, it's a family thing I understand. God bless him. God bless all of them, and God bless you, Barry I love your music.
I doubt that great of music Robin Gibb is in such an abandoned place when he should be in a crypt or mausoleum with all his family Robin Gibb deserves to be in a worthy place. This is strange and very rare.
I don't understand why people think that isn't his grave. The funeral was very public. It's right across the road from the home he loved and where he lived for almost 30 years. Mo was cremated, no grave, and some of his ashes were buried with Robin. Andy is buried in a mausoleum in LA with no special memorial. So are Hugh and Barbara. Even a VERY famous person, a world leader like Winston Churchill, is buried in a very nondescript grave with a simple small marker in a churchyard in Bladon near Blenheim where he was born and If you didn't know it was there it is very easy to miss. Nothing strange at all. He loved his home which is actually a former monastery connected to St Mary's and attended this church. There always have to be conspiracy theories about everything.
@@susieq9801thank you for the information that you have provided here. He was indeed a very humble man and loved the town that he was very much a part of.
Ainda desejo que estes vídeos tenha legenda em português. Aprecio tudo que relacina a história Robin gibb. Mas não entendo muito o inglês. Gratidão por postar.❤
Nope Andy was born in Manchester, England. All the other gibb brothers and sister were born in The Isle of Man. They moved too Austrailia when Andy was 9 months old.
Robin was one if my favorite Begees and i so wish yu would have shown us his grave up close all the things yu Said i could have get it off the web! In future when showing please zoom in closer it felt lile yu was 10 feet tall showing his grave!
The Bee Gees were the best..Where i worked, Maurice often came to the shop.and Barry... Sorry Robbin never liked...He moved his house keeper in with his wife...Had a baby with her...
Born in Douglas, Isle of Man, a self ruling British dependency in the Irish Sea between England, Scotland and Ireland. There is a lovely statue of them there that you can Google. They lived in Manchester where Andy was born and moved to Australia in late 1968 where their dad hoped to get work, returning to the UK in January 1967, after just over 8 years, to get in on the British Music Invasion. The Australian market was too small to get global fame.

What kind of Church is it? Looks Anglican. Grave of Robin & Memorial for Andy r in ODD locations considering their wealth & status. I wouldn’t want to b near a Road.
Odd place to bury an icon in history if it's actually him there, I hardly think so, can't believe the family would bury him on the side of a road, I think this gravesite is for fans to pay respect to, he is somewhere else that's secure, just my thought RIP
He is actually in this graveyard. It is where he wanted to be located and because the graveyard itself is actually almost full up there wasn’t much room for choice. He actually stated that he wanted to be buried in view of the house and he got his wishes. His grave is in view of CCTV that is located on the house as the headstone is the second one to be placed on his grave. The first one was damaged beyond repair by some nasty jealous individuals.
It’s not exactly on the walkway. If you look there are other graves behind it. His grave is the last one they could actually fit in the graveyard. It is full up there. Also his grave is in view of the house
Robin Gibbs headstone is stunning well done to the guy who designed it

What about Maurice? His voice was special too and all of them had wonderfully majestad voices!!
Да.Морис почему-то всегда был на задворках.А ведь он делал все оранжировки.Вся мука,звук-Морис.Почему об этом молчат?
@@user-uv3st3ct5m Maurice is praised constantly. Maybe you just haven't noticed it. There are tributes all over CZcams and social media.
Maurice was cremated, so he doesn't have a gravesite. There is a park named after him in Miami Beach.

Das Grab liegt nicht sehr schön, glaube nicht dass Robin dort begraben liegt, zu einfach und nicht besonders einladend dort zu verweilen.

So why do we always have to skip have the video just to see what is going...?
You shouldn’t have to
