Dude ! You mastered it ! Its hard to see someone using the kaoss and actually make something good and not just a bunch of sounds together- Even though it was a cover, its one of the best videos ive seen that shows the power of this beast.
Just did this beat on my kaos pro, dude you had alot of time in your hands for making this through one recording. One thing i hate is the extreme sensitivity, mad props though bro definitley a thumbs up
@DjMarcMc If I may add, The kaoss is easy to start with for sure, but it doesn't limit you to what you can do when you want to try more complex stuff. It's a great first synth
@BAMH7861 I just picked one of these up from Best Buy for about 4 bills. Guitar Center has the same pricing normally. If you opt for the portable/original Kaossilator, you can find those for right around a hundred but you'll be limited to half the included sounds, only 1 bank to build on, and no internal or external memory for saving on the go. But the upside is you can use the little yellow ones on the bus, plane or wherever else.

The touchpad can be pretty difficult to enter a melody (particularly in time as the squares equalling notes are pretty small). Also, each voice has only 2 available parameters to control, when I purchased it I thought you could assign your own parameters but you cant. Great bit of kit but probably worth saving the extra couple of hundred and getting an X50 or something similar.
@Crysiz2 it has 4 loop recorder banks on which you can record 16 seconds or so and they are .wav format so if u wanna get the hole song as an mp3 file on your computer u have to edit and multiply the loops in any music software that does this OR u can record the sound in your PC directly as u play it on kaoss using an RCA to JACK cable

Recently bought one of these. You'll notice the central 2 are only assigned to a single note (In 1 Octave mode) all the rest are assigned to two though. That's the only thing I know. I find it pretty easy to be accurate in 1 octave mode just take your time and speed things up when you're confident.

you hold down the shift button and press the loop button which you wanna switch, and turn the knob to change the beats
