- Several prominent dancers from YGX gave messages to fans following the announcement. Park Eun Chong, Blackpink's backup dancer and Babymonster's choreographer for the songs Sheesh and Batter Up, expressed his gratitude for fans' participation in the dance lessons, while Kwon Young Deuk expressed his regret and hopes for a strong comeback in the future.

For what i know the YGX school is closing but YGX is still there. But we don't really know what is happening cuz majority and veterans and high-up of YGX are really good friends with BP members. So we still need more updates for this.

Well treasure can run their concert live without dancer + babymonster PROFF it they can do live performance without dancer too. So, why did they need dancer if the idol can do all of it. Yg proofing that they can do multitasking job now.
I want to say a majority of the idols (female) at YG rarely have back up dancers for music shows unless in the MV …they also have back up dancers mostly for concerts or trying to hype you up type of songs they use them…. They mostly use them during their concert/big shows because it means they’re able to provide a larger performance so that it reaches out to more people in the back of the concert.
If my brain is remembering correctly, BLACKPINK didn’t start having back up dancers until Kill This Love in 2019 and when they did at the music show, we also got back up dancers.
And in BATTER UP, they also had background dancers in the music video and then their practice/performance videos. They also had the back up dancers also with Sheesh they don’t have any back up dancers in the music video so we haven’t had any on the music show…
I’m happy there are no background dancers.. baby monsters already have 7 members a lot of the time the stages seems tooo crowded with too many backup dancers and they are also able to fill the stage themselves they do lot need backup dancers
Babymon fan meeting & treasure's JP tour is starting in May ,
I think dancers will go with them.....
& YGE is planing for new group, so maybe teachers will be there for their training.....
One thing to look at it, as newer generations are shifting in, the company also have to utilize talents within the same age range. Most veterans are 2nd/3rd gen. That said, YG most likely will utilize their talent as choreographer’s but not as dancers alongside with BM. Maybe for some Treasure activities. So it makes sense, the dancers could potentially outsource their talents to other agencies. But it’s unfortunate that a dancer career is also short lived.

They stopped the classes for public. YGX is still there but no more enrollment for dance lessons. I think YG want them to focus on more in the company but we still need to wait for more updates.

YGX dancers are known world wide not just in SK. Taeyang for Shoon not only had YGX dancers but Just Jerks as well. The Kwon Twins are instantly recognised as superb dancers. They have their own fanbases. There are many SK dance studios 1million is phenomenal and has fans all over the world. Nearly all the groups did not have back up dancers until they go on stage
So does it mean they won't have their own backup dancers and use outside dancers only when their groups perform?.
