    Man I never knew that the Giulia Quadrifoglio has very good tuning potential
    Makes this a very fun car tho I wish we had one with a stick shift

    • @albonfilms
      @albonfilms  Před 3 lety +8

      Yeah I've been pretty surprised with how nicely its been taking the mods. The drivetrain seems pretty robust! A stick would have made this car perfect, but the ZF8HP is a great auto for sure.

    Open blow-off valve instead of recirculating means you loose boost pressure with every gearchange or throttle liftoff. The original plastic valve actually very rarely breaks too, its good quality

    • @bluearcherx
      @bluearcherx Před 2 měsíci

      In an automatic, you only blow off if you lift... if you lift you were losing boost anyway. On a manual you might have a point but who cares because it sounds cool 🤣

    This may be a dumb question but how do you get the air to shoot out like in the thumbnail? My son really wants to do that to my QV like in the f&f. Plus looks neat. Thanks

    I installed the Weistec adaptors on my Stelvio QV. It wasn't as easy as your Giulia QV but I love the sound. I also installed the Ideal Race CF intake. A very worthwhile modification in my opinion.

    • @robertoruizantonetti6385
      @robertoruizantonetti6385 Před 2 lety

      They're still on. No issues and very unobtrusive sounding. They're a good match to the Stelvio QV. Unfortunately I'm relocating to Puerto Rico on the 25th and I voluntarily surrendered the Stelvio to the bank. I'm going to look into getting an RX-8 in Puerto Rico, rotary engines are the thing back home.

    • @robertoruizantonetti6385
      @robertoruizantonetti6385 Před 2 lety +1

      I left them on. I had some warranty repairs done at the dealership and now I can't open the hood. The techs don't know what they're doing.

    • @choptang564
      @choptang564 Před 2 lety

    • @robertoruizantonetti6385
      @robertoruizantonetti6385 Před 2 lety +1

      I wish my arms were thinner but I was still able to get them from the top. The Wing Chun did come in handy, it's not easy doing it from under either. The easiest way would be removing the front bumper. My arms looked like I fought off a raccoon afterwards but I enjoyed the results.

    • @elyasrasti8943
      @elyasrasti8943 Před 3 lety

      It only opens when intake manifold closes and makes vacuum.

    • @albonfilms
      @albonfilms  Před 3 lety +3

      Elyas got it! They only open when the throttle plate is shut and the intake manifold no longer is drawing in boost. These are electronically actuated too, so they open when the ECU wants them too.

  • @tyd206
