How long are ur cordes
This is great! I am going to make this! But I need mine to be much longer.... How do I decide how long the threads should be? 2 times the final length I want? 3 times? Please let me know. Update: oh never mind! I just saw you had the details in the description.

Or can I use shorter length and then tie a second piece when I get to the end. Is tying in the middle ok thing to do or would it totally ruin the look?
Hi Mollie ☺️ there must be 9 layers for this knot technique. We use each rope by folding it in the middle because 👍🏻 It is better to keep the rope long than to add ☺️ so it will look more beautiful 😍

I like your work, thank you for sharing! Can you tell how to calculate the length of the thread if I take a thread 2 mm? Is it same 400 cm each thread or shorter?

I tried to make this, but I ended up having half of the cords really long since they were only being tied on and not tying themselves. I feel like I should have had some of the cords a lot longer than others. I ended up with a much smaller placement mat than expected due to running out of some of the cords? Is this normal? I saw in the end of this video when you were cutting that also your cords had various length

After attaching 18 threads, you should look at the width measurement 👍🏻 You have to reduce or increase the ropes until you find the width you want ☺️ I wish you good luck 💐

Why do you sew and glue at end? It won’t hold as is?
