This is really interesting. I'm a Chinese-born American who has always dreamed of returning back to live in China to reconnect with my roots. Of course, China today is so different from when I left as a child. Nonetheless, it's still something I've wanted to do for years now.

Can I ask: Is specializing in studying interior design a good and profitable ? I mean can I get a job after university? I mean does the market need interior designers or not? Or are there better specializations?
Interior design is certainly a field with future prospects. As long as people need houses, this industry is likely to thrive. But on a personal level, it’s important to ask yourself if you have a passion for this field, and whether you’re committed to continually enhancing your skills to support your career growth. Consider the typical salaries and conditions in your city too. A common aspect of the design industry is the need for ongoing inspiration and adjustments to make ideas come to life, which can be a tough part of the process. Without a strong love for design, it might be hard to keep going.
