I've had the opportunity to sit down with Miranda Kerr (over IG Live of course, because we're still social distancing) to chat about all things self-care! Miranda is a super model, mama to 3 boys, and the Founder & CEO of KORA Organics. I wanted to ask her all about the techniques she's using to stay sane and the ways she's treating herself during this stressful time.

1. Maintain a basic daily skincare ritual
2. Wear bright colors to subconsciously uplift your mood
3. Wear jewelry that brings you joy
4. Affirmation box/journal to reflect back on
5. Dry body brush to help with circulation and lymphatic drainage
6. Try different types of meditation to see what works for you
7. Practice gratitude and stay in the moment
8. Try and take care of any responsibilities earlier in the evening to have time to decompress
9. Sea salt and baking soda baths to detox your body

I love how she is all about clean beauty, meditation, staying with nature but still awesome business women but as well so feminine and just positive and bright! She does the opposite of what I do: she stays up late to get her me time, I wake up one or two hours beforethe rest of the house does to get my alone moment (especially effective since one of my housemates stays up late to get her alone time).

I have been following Hinduism and its teachings like yoga and meditation for a very long time and I know there are different types of meditation and even different types of yoga. But I was really unaware that these types can be selective to the type of an individual. Also, the baking soda I thought it's just good for exfoliation but I didn't know that it also helps with detoxifying. This was so informative!!!
I do love yellow and orange too but I only started to wear Things like that only some Month ago and I do think they fit to me really aswell ,and u can combinate them really good with small jewellery like with Gold or silber ,does look really good.

As a Christian, I cannot do eastern meditation, but I do do Christian meditation, praying, saying rosary or chaplet of divine mercy etc. I find it has always been a source of strength, it also give ground for the Holy Spirit to act or invite the Holy Spirit into our lives. Also it brings discipline. Wonderful fruits. I'm glad Miranda found what works for her and helps her. Otherwise ... I just want to say she is looking amazing! Glowing :) It's a great idea to wear bright colours, cute jewelery. I can't pull off yellow and don't like orange, but colourful pastels, or a strong red, green, blue I can do haha. Also I'm glad she's recommending the dry brushing having done it for years and sees results. I believe Valeria has done it for a while too. I think I might give it a go and try :) Has anyone here done it and have you see results of it? Do you do it daily or once a week ...or what should one do for optimal results?
Also after 10min in... interesting. I've seen studies that children who've been too much away from the mother or in daycare end up more likely to have anxiety, depression, abandonment issues (this affects them subconciously and in later years too). Traditionally mothers stayed with children in the key development early years and the millennials are acutally the first generation to be raised en masse in this new way. Of course it doesn't mean all, but I have heard from other women as well. One was giving her accont, she had decided to be a stay a home mum and when she does leave the children in care for her to go to the gym or do other things for a few hours she said she sees the difference between her children and the others. Hers are more calm, obendient, respectful than the others. Now that could be anecdotal, I remember I was at an afterschool club in primary school briefly (I hated it) but the point is I was fine. So who knows. But as soon as Miranda mentioned how her family has become closer her children as listening more. I was reminded of what I had heard before.
Who knows this whole situation could be wonderful for many families and bring them closer. See the positive side of this situation ^_^
Yeah I've heard about the baking soda thing, but people use it as a face mask. I didn't think of adding it to a bath! Interesting, I think I might give that a try this week. Thank you this was a good video and I enjoyed it :) ...again, she looks lovely, positively glowing ^_^ I intend to look like her and you (well I mean obviously I'll look like me, but in as good shape and care and making effort to be feminine and pretty etc.) after having 1, or 3, or 5 etc. children, it is very very possible. My mama was in good shape after giving birth to my brother and later me. So I hope I'll be in as good shape as you guys in the future. Be safe everyone :)

hi, in regards to your dry brushing and baking soda questions i would recommend looking up Dr. Dray’s videos here on yt for those topics! she talks about the scientific reasons why they can be harmful for your skin. hope this helps! i’ve actually learned a lot from Dr dray and my skin has benefited :)
