Bishop Nelson was a Praiser and a Preacher l saw him many years ago at my church at 420 Forest Dr Fairfield, AL 35604. He was doing a 2 wks revival for my Pastor Bishop Rochelle Hudson and First Lady Elder Erma Hudson. His subject was "Is that Reasonable. Roman 12:1. Man of God of course preached that word under the anointing of the Holy Ghost. They're will never be another Bishop Floyd Nelson.the Uncle of Gospel Artist and song writer Johnathan Nelson.
Yup...this has been a learnt behavior in the church that needs to break. The title has made men too "elite" and "lofty" to have a public display of affection for God.
I' don't see how these Bishops and Pastors can sit there and just want participate in the Celebration of Life for Apostle Nelson,whom I know was a Praiser. He always gave God everything he had in him, when it came to Praising God.some people can be so stiff-necked and don't want to be in obedience when the person that's is in of charge for that service is up before them.I saw a few in obedience to the Spirit, when Apostle Nelson nephew told them to get up and put their feet down and give the Lord some praise. Not for Apostle Floyd Nelson,who already did and done it for many years.
