Touchlessly Cleaning a VERY Dirty Trailer

  • Did a demo at Corbets in Gympie on a trailer that had been away working for two months without a wash. Used Nerta's Active Diamond and got a really great result. For more info please go to www.nerta.net.au or follow us on facebook at / nertaaustralia - heaps more videos!!!
    Why we wash from the bottom to the top
    When washing a vehicle using conventional methods you firstly apply soap, wash using a sponge or a broom and then rinse off with water from the top to the bottom.
    Touchless washing is a bit different. We apply the soap through a high pressure foamer and then use high pressure water as a “sponge or a broom". We then work the water back into fresh soap, either from the bottom to the top or backwards in the case of truck trailers etc. In this way we use the soap more efficiently. (If we wash from the top down we would simply wash the soap off the vehicle which kind of defeats the purpose). We then rinse from the top down.

    I work at finish line truck wash and have almost 10 years experience. You rinse bottom to top with the brushless or touchless 2step system. It'll dilute the soap if u rinse top to bottom . you only rinse top to bottom if you use the hand wash method

    Speaking as a former semi truck washer, if you've never used aluminum bright OR soap to clean a trailer it does seem counterintuitive. But in order to clean the most effectively you need two things. 1. Aluminum bright or soap solution on the trailer plus 2. Force of the water from the power washer. If you start from the top, your first pass across looks great, BUT all the water runs down rinsing off the aluminum bright before you actually get to it with the power washer. So, as you work your way down there's no aluminum bright left on the trailer to be forced off with the power washer because it was rinsed off from the water running down. And like I said you need the force of the water blowing INTO the concentrated aluminum bright to get the best job done. That's why you work from the bottom up.

      Well some of these "experts" realize what's in the description is just what they say to do it their way how they want. Most of it doesn't work hiw they say. Regardless of how they want to put it, it makes no sense to spray dirt up so it can drip all the way down where you have already cleaned, that's why the most effective method is top to bottom. You can come up with tons of reasons to argue why your version way works, but this is the universal method for a reason.

    He visto muchos videos en dónde empiezan a quitarle la espuma al camión o maquinaria que están lavando, de abajo hacia arriba teniendo en cuenta que es al contrario; sin embargo puede ser que lo hagan así para evitar que se pegue dónde se aplicó primero.

    • @chiefsaustralia9012
      @chiefsaustralia9012  Před 3 lety

      Gracias por tu comentario, al lavar un vehículo con métodos convencionales primero aplicas jabón, lo lavas con una esponja o escoba y luego enjuagas con agua de arriba hacia abajo.
      El lavado sin contacto es un poco diferente.
      El jabón se aplica a través de un espumador de alta presión y luego el agua a alta presión se usa como una "esponja o escoba". El agua se transforma en jabón fresco, ya sea de abajo hacia arriba o hacia atrás en el caso de camiones y remolques, etc. De esta manera, el jabón se usa de manera más eficiente (si se lava de arriba hacia abajo, simplemente lavaría el jabón del vehículo, lo que anula el propósito).
      Luego enjuague de arriba hacia abajo para finalizar el proceso de limpieza.

    They explain in the description why he went bottom to top. He went top to bottom with the final rinse. There is more than 1 way to skin a cat fellas.

      It's the correct way. If you start at the top, the water, and dirt will wash away the soap as you go to the bottom
