My great aunt was a makeup artist and costume designer for this movie! She got to spend a lot of time with Daisy Earles. She did her makeup and dressed her from scratch. I still have some old photos from the set somewhere but I'd have to look.

Wow! What was her name? Was she uncredited ?

@@naturesnatcher It seems like no one from the costume or makeup departments were credited. I believe that was standard practice at the time unless the movie relied on special effects or had to bring in a big name artist.
