I didn’t know what would happen if you give the bouquet to another person while married so I wanted to test it out. Got Elliot one, gave it, got Elliot’s hearts up to ten and then the event came. I didn’t even know about the event, I was sweating so bad and I kid you not, accidentally pressed the “Yes” or “Yea” button instead of “No.” That was the day my character accidentally cheated on her husband and he never knew. It took me like a week, though, to figure out it was an event you can’t really escape💀
Elliot is by far one of the least problematic residents in Stardew. Leave the man alone. XD I fell in love with him the moment I met him. His reception to the player is so inviting when compared to everyone else. That being said, this video is hilarious.

NAHHEBDHFJFFNG god this littrarly happened to me. I had a married farmer and during one update, suddenly all the marriage candidates thought we where dating, and this for a few days i was just experiencing heart event after heart event, so it really was just like that
