REMPE! Totally clean hit. Just a really hard one so the refs felt they had to call the big man. VR literally just played the puck. And it's playofffs. Was he not gonna hit him? Lol. Any other player wouldn't even have been considered for a penalty there. It wasn't late at all. Refs are totally biased against Rempe. They need to stop calling penalties based on how hard the hit was or if the recipient got right back up or was shaken up. It seems like if the player gets rocked they're calling a penalty. If it's a crowd pleaser the refs are calling it. On one of his hits the ref already had his hand up before Rempe even made contact. It's totally biased. Even some nhl announcers and analysts said the refs use a diff rule book for Rempe cuz of his size. If the player goes down they call a penalty. If he stays on his feet they don't. That's some bs. It's the capitals players faults for not warning VR that a mack truck was speeding towards him. They 100% have to tell their dman that a guy is bearing down in him in that situation, especially the goalie. He def saw it coming from the blue line. Rempe did nothing wrong. Just tracked his target and followed the hit through the body. Hard. Perfect. Every fan in the league would love to have him and you know all know it. It's only other teams fans that are salty about Rempes hits. Its not his fault he's huge. He's literally built for the NHL. He is a beauty of a NHL 4th liner. It's a big man's game. @fredrickolsen838 Pƙed 11 dny

@@Rpont63 If you read rule 42.1, there is no requirement for skates to leave the ice prior to impact for a charging penalty. When you see skates leave the ice from a jumping motion, it’s usually evidence that the player jumped into the hit. So whether skates leave the ice before or after impact is irrelevant. Besides, the four or fives strides he took to get to speed was sufficient enough for charging.
