  • Story Of The Japanese Steph Curry: Keisei Tominaga
Born in Moriyama Japan, Keisei Tominaga has all the makings of being the next big Japanese star. He fits the mould of the current generation of ball players as he can shoot from deep, penetrate to the rim and help his teammates get open looks. There’s a reason he earned the nickname ‘The Japanese Steph Curry’ because not only is he a lights-out shooter but is one of the most efficient players for his age. That efficiency has stood pat as his usage has gone up moving from junior college to the NCAA Division 1. NBA scouts have their eyes on Tominaga as he’s set to provide an offensive punch to which ever team is lucky enough to draft him.

Because this video starts out talking about lineage, I want to make sure you kids know, Steph and Seth's dad was an absolute baller. He isn't remembered as well by history because making 3's was not nearly as important to the game back then, but I can assure you, no one wanted to play Dell Curry when he was on because he would take over the game.

One of the biggest challenges of playing big minutes in the NBA is high basketball IQ, unfortunately talent alone is not good enough to play at a high level. If you miss a lot of defensive assignments, you don't box out efficiently and you don't run plays into the shot clock, you ride the bench. Let's hope they do great and have great coaches that can teach them the NBA game.

Not even trying to be too negative but as long as he averages less than 1 assist theres not even slightest chance that he'll even make the g league

too bad he didn't get his father's height, it's actually odd since you would at least expect something in between, 6'5~6'7.

He's already getting pro experience that's the edge international players have over Americans. We need to fix that. Our players are true rookies.

I’ve looked him up, he is actually of the same height as Steph and Ja Morant (1.88M). He just needs to bulk up a bit

Not even close, he hasn't had that type of competition even in a college setting..his #"s are too low his percentages or eye opening,, why the overall plain #'s per gm. He needs to lead a team elite eight or final for or something.

He may be too much of a defensive liability to ever be like Steph though...thats the issue. Unless he can steadily put up 25+ a game, no team is going to want to sacrifice that much for a few 3s
