HEAVY RECOVERY : Claas Tractor on fire 🚜🔥

HEAVY RECOVERY - 20-06-2019 - HOLLAND - “I immediately grabbed my lunchbox, jumped out and called 112. There was no stopping it, it was completely on fire ”, says the driver of the tractor that burned out Thursday morning at the Spui in Huizen.
The tractor was mowing when a huge blaze came out of the mower. The fire brigade arrived quickly but could not prevent the tractor cabin from burning out completely. The driver was not injured.
Salvaging the tractor was still quite a job for Bergnet. The company received assistance from colleague Berger Stouwdam from Oldebroek, who arrived on site with a lowloader. The colossus of more than twelve tons had to be towed from the Spui to the Delta. There Stouwdam was ready for transport with the lowloader. With the help of Bergnet's heavy salvage vehicle, the tractor could be pulled onto the lowloader via a winch. Due to the salvage works, the Delta was closed to traffic for some time.
