June has definitely been rough but I still love watching this team everyday & truly feel we are NEVER out of the game. That being said I have no faith in the lousy, cheap, uninvested Dolans to address starting pitcher at a level needed to make a playoff run beyond just a division champ. This starting lineup is not good. It’s Bibee, a revival of 32 year old Lively, & average or below average for the rest. Just frustrating having the owners we do.
Its just hard in general I mean look at what the guys on the market are doing, they also did invest in Bieber just that it didnt work out due to injury. Pitching is hard and everyone needs its

In a season where focus is shifting from win/develop to just full blown win, I’m in favour of just going with the hot hand from AAA and seeing if they can stick…. If they don’t, give the next guy a shot and hope you eventually catch lightning in a bottle (or make external add.). On that basis, Manzardo going down is OK with me.

I somewhat agree, I feel we shouldn’t sent down manzardo he’s been very productive offensively and arias hasn’t been great. I think we should heavily look at our pitching prospects and start making moves. I think it will benfit manzardo being down at Columbus though.

When will Triston admit he requires surgery? He is not doing anyone, especially himself, any favors. After a period of slight improvement, he has been regressing. Is it really possible he will get better??
He is supposed to be able to get better but I worry that he just doesn't trust his stuff or is afraid to just go full bore

Mackenzie is essentially a two pitch pitcher. He is a reliever at this point disguised as a starter. How do you not develop another pitch?
I swear I remember the TV broadcasting team talking years ago about Bauer working with MacKenzie on a changeup. Heck, throw a two seamer.
He might be a one pitch guy right now its just not working and one has to worry about the injury

I’m not a doctor but I’ve been saying for a while from everything I’ve seen and talking to some people that would know, I think Tristin needs to get the surgery done and just take the step back. Objectively, you won’t be able to count on him moving forward
I think he’s trying to hang in there for the team which has been noble thus far. Unfortunately he’s becoming a liability, hard when we don’t have any depth
