Dry Granulation | Types Of Granulation

One common question is that how we convert fine powders into granules in dry granulation? The answer of this question is that in dry granulation we convert fine powders into granules by application of pressure. Pressure can be applied either by slugging method or by roller compaction or Chilsonator method.
Dry granulation process is used for manufacturing of those products which are moisture and heat sensitive.
In pharmaceutical industries, Dry granulation is a important method used for manufacturing of different OSD products which can not be manufactured by wet granulation process.
