This is a very good programme with Khaiyyam Saab and his wife singer Jagjit Kaur. I am a very big fan of Khaiyyam Saab's music. I have the collection of his each and every songs from Heer Ranjha (I948) to present. His music is very soft and with good quality poetry. Orchestration is not heavy but very unique and distinct. He can be compared with RC Boral, Pankaj Malik, Anil Biswas, Khemchand Prakash, Shyam Sundar, Naushad, O.P. Nayyar, Shankar Jaikishan etc but his style of music is still distinct and different. Dil ko Sukoon milne wala. Bhagwan aap dono ko bahut lambi umra de. Aap ke nek kaam ke liya mera salute. Irafan saab ko million thanks.

How humble for a GREAT music duo! It only heightens their greatness. I too wish Jagjit Kaur had performed more songs. Her voice is honey-dripping sweet and her talent is unequalled. Khaiyam's "shaam-e-gham ki kasam" remains my all-time favorite creation of his. I salute both!

मैं इतने लंबे समय तक यही समझता रहा कि, "तुम अपना रंजो ग़म, अपनी परेशानी मुझे दे दो" ये गाना गीता दत्त जी ने गाया है, लेकिन आज मैं ये जानकर आश्चर्य चकित रह गया कि ये गाना जगजीत कौर जी ने गाया है, और उनकी शायद एकमात्र फिल्म जिसमे उन्होंने अपनी आवाज दी। आश्चर्य!! महा आश्चर्य!!
