- Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, producer Jerry Bruckheimer, and directors Bilall Fallah and Adil El Arbi attend the press conference for their movie Bad Boys for Life (Bad Boys 3). The film also stars Vanessa Hudgens, Joe Pantoliano, Paola Nunez, Happy Anderson, Jennifer Badger and ALexander Ludwig.
Plot: The Bad Boys Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett are back together for one last ride in the highly anticipated Bad Boys for Life. Marcus and Mike have to confront new issues (career changes and midlife crises), as they join the newly created elite team AMMO of the Miami police department to take down the ruthless Armando Armas, the vicious leader of a Miami drug cartel.

Plus Martin has been off the big screen for some time now so he's getting use to interviews and spot lights again....and he's older.Eddie Murphy is the same way in his interviews because he's been gone for so long.

Martin had a back injury during the movie and that's why he had so weight on him. Wait until y'all get in the 50s it's a different ball game but I'm happy to see him black in shape and wish him great health. Hope he and Eddie do Life 2 next.

I know exactly what Will means when he mentioned balancing all the jokes because when he'd carry a more laid back approach to the persona of Mike Lowery, he instantly became way more interesting, believable and fascinating to watch on screen. As Will was cool, calm, humble, and in complete self control, yet still he was in charge and it was like watching another person who just happened to look like Will Smith. Most importantly Will had become unpredictable. Mastering charisma because he displayed a certain level of "smooth" which was not the normal persona or personality traits of the Fresh Prince. Will Smith would become one of my favorite actors upon my first viewing of Bad Boys in Hyde Park movie cinemas. This was an ingenious act of God because it also broke Will Smith and Martin Lawrence out of any probabilities of being type cast as only comedians, catipulting them both to huge success. Martin Lawrence, who's brilliant use of being hot tempered was fully realized in Bad Boys as to where he had the luxury of not being censored becoming nolonger the funny trash talking comic but a real force to be reckoned with, whom just happened to conveniently be funny as Marcus Barnnet.
Been waiting on these guys part 3 for a long time! 50 is 30! 😂👍🏽

Honest to God one of the main reasons why I moved to Florida from Detroit because I wanted to be in this movie so bad. back in 2008 -2012 that’s how long I waited They shot this movie in Atlanta so I thought I had an opportunity to audition but things happen for a reason I didn’t get The opportunity, but hopefully I will on the 4th

I literally have white gold dog tags that I bought when I was 18 years old when I did my first movie, because of bad boys 2! Because Will Smith had them in the movie, I still wear the necklace every day. I used to watch the first movie every day at 9 years old LOL
when my dad and mom recorded it off the Tv I remember they took out the part when the woman walks in with the lingerie in to Mike’s house but the violence 😂 and swearing were fine I’m so happy I have cool parents. Big props 2 the directors from coming from a different country and doing a big movie. I never would’ve thought to see 2 Muslim directors, do a big movie like this. That just shows everything is changing in a good way. It gives me a chance to do what I love to do more than anything , is to ACT. I almost had my big break on a franchise last year that I audition 6X for.

I came close last year for my big break after 15 years. I spent $2000 flying to North Carolina twice in four days it’s a long crazy story. I auditioned for the role 6X BUT I was one of the finalist I lost at the last second.

The past bad boys came out during the summer. I wonder why this one is coming out in January. After the holiday movie season instead of this summer. I can't help but think it's because top gun 2 , another bruckheimer movie. They didn't want competition.

I actually started to write a script for part three , then it was started that they have one available, then to only find out that the reason that it took so was because of the script , I was pissed.

Well if you've followed Martin through some of his previous interviews, he has stated that he's more laid back now. He prefers to listen moreso than talk. He's very aware that Will is more of the talker who brings more of the hyper energy and he's okay with that. No different than a group of singers or rappers...There's always gonna be someone who naturally takes the lead. Will definitely brings the energy. Martin just isn't as aggressive in interviews like he use to be. He's just a lot more laid back and humble. That's just how these two play off of each other.
It's because the movie so excruciating bad. He knows it but needs to promote this monstrosity. It has to be really difficult. It explains his behavior.

They're both funny in their own way. Martian has energy, Will has charisma. Its why they fit well together.
No disrespect to Will Smith, but he was never a "comedian" in a literal sense. He was exclusively a comedic actor. Keyword is actor. Martin Lawrence is a true comedian who creates material and performs it ON STAGE. Therefore, it'd be great to recognize that out of respect for Martin's craftsmanship. It also helps people understand why he'd be chosen over Will to get the laughs.
Michael Bay was smart to balance the characters out in the comedic sense. Hobbs and Shaw could’ve learned that.
