Heres one for you guys I wrote this several yrs back, I title it: Epitaph of a Battlefield.
Epitaph of a battlefield
Is riddled with souls,
Until they're all marked
And lying in rows.
On the beaches of Normandy
Where most had fallen,
God heard their cries
And answered their calling.
They fought against Nazi tyranny
For freedom their sacrifices
Were none too small.
For these brave soldiers
Of our past,
Will eternally be
Heroes for us all.
Dedicated to all U.S. & allied forces,
lost on June 6th 1944.
Let us beseech the blessings for their

Jack Volta excuse me. What I didn’t notice before were the rhymes. Pardon me, I forgot there’s a system of poetry that doesn’t rhyme and also, I only noticed the first line repeated the first time.
@@roderickstockdale1678 well I always title my poetry, maybe you read that into it, as the 1st line, as for my poetry, I always write and title my poetry, and I alway write it out so it rhymes, as for that 1st poem that mentions Lads, I did not write that one.
I have many poems that I've written and a lot of them are written to honor veterans. Here's some of my military titles. Memorial Day Blessing, Soldiers Tale, Casualties for freedom, Infidel Sniper, Forever Vigilant, Soldiers Prayer, Ghillie suit, Pride & Glory, Old Glory. and of course Epitaph of a Battlefield.
For 25 years, every D-Day game has been a parody of the movie: Saving Private Ryan

As for Soviet guns, there are way too many of them in German hands. While many of the Germans at Normandy were previously on the Eastern Front, very few of them brought Soviet guns because they were useless without propper ammunition against the Americans and British. Nearly half of the enemies in this game carry the PPSH-41 and SVT-40.
This is an eerily accurate description of what went on that day, the allies lost some four thousand men on Omaha alone, absolute massacre

What some people don't know is that there were also Koreans and Africans fighting alongside with Germany as well. Not sure how much exactly but they did have some as far as I remember.
Once again, the intro made it look like there were at least twelve boats and then it looked like maybe one boat-worth of troops made it past the beach.

Okay, while I love this video, because I am obsessed with German uniforms and other stuff, gonna list some inaccuracies here. The Germans with the field caps had an Eagle on the side, which was exclusive to Waffen SS. And if they were Waffen SS, they would not have Army collar patches. Also seemingly half the soldiers seem to be NCOs (To be specific, Staff Sergeants for the US and regular Sergeants for the UK), which while not impossible is a bit weird considering the requirements a soldier needs to become a NCO, and how NCOs are meant be essentially be squad leaders. In fact they kinda look like officer cadets since the white line at the bottom of their shoulder straps seems to be a loop added over the strap (Screen freeze 9:30) which again while not impossible is highly unlikely. Also said NCOs do not have ‘Tressen’, which is a white outline of the lower half of the collar, though they do have it on their shoulder straps which is how I identify them as NCOs. Also the German helmets should not have the tri-color shield, as all instances were painted over during 1940 under high command’s orders. Sorry if this was long, but I have always been particular about these things.

just wanna say that i played this game its called Call Of Duty WW2 and Its so good except the tank mission im horrible at tanks tanks mission suck (sorry if i offended you) i litteraly spent 7 hours completed tons of mission then encountered the hardest mission the tank operation and btw ik you spent alot of hours to make this video so keep the good work and thats all bye!

The visuals and sound effects were stunning but the semi auto Kar98s and Soviet weapons killed the immersion…
The germans used soviet weapons ( pow and looted dead) and thats a k98k there is no k98
@@silasmerzenich It's a simple abbreviation that's what I was referring to. Also soviet weapons were very rare on the western front. Kinda hard to loot dead Soviets in France... You wouldn't see Germans all armed with PPsh like in this game.

Why American army didn’t prepare shields for each soldiers.
It would be too heavy and don't forget with just their equipment they still drown so bringing a shield is still a death wish
1: too heavy to carry.
2: too expensive to have Shields for every single soldier,metal was a rare and Precious resource.
3: fairly ineffective because just like with armor bullets would go straight through a normal shield in most occasions,and a shield will slow you down making you an easier target.
These reasons are mainly why armor and shields stopped existing all together after a certain point in which Guns became a thing

It still bugs me how some of the German forces are using PPSH 41’s and Type 100 submachine guns on the Western Front.

I think they were trying to tell us that the "Germans" on these beaches were actually Soviet POWs forced to defend the beaches because most of the experienced german troops are busy fighting in the Eastern front, but idk tho
