*This Gold Cup is being followed across Latin America and by reading the Spanish comments at the bottom of the videos I can tell that the USWNT has won fans all over from Mexico to Argentina. The commenters not only praise to the sky the football skills of the American team but are also enamored with the "beauty of the American players" whom they call "Estadounidenses" (United Statians or American for us). Next to Alex Morgan's name, they put a series of red hearts in their comments.*
She's a great and humble leader. I much prefer Alex Morgan over the ex player Megan Rapinoe who was all whiny and didn't respect the country she played for.

I dont understand why everyone was presuming that because Alex wasn’t in this camp meant that she was out of the group for the Olympics…These coaches wanted to see what the other strikers could do, you cant roster just strikers…If Alex wasn’t already in the roster for the Olympics or in serious consideration, there wasn’t really a need for her in this roster, there are plenty of players on this roster that could play striker but are playing on the wing. The only way to see new players is to give them a chance, the only way to do that is by not calling in veteran players.
