”Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.“

Man...🎉 Alot of people go through this awakening...it is surreal. We have to be there for those who are in this phase, because they need to know that we all go through it, and we are here to give our testimony about the spiritual side of things ❤.
Many are going to seek the truth. The word of God is important to our lives.
We must free the CAPTIVES 🎉🎉
Thank you for sharing your testimony. We feel the need for "belonging" and truly forget first and foremost we "belong" to God. That is where we should start to seek acceptance. From there we align with all the other good things He has for our lives (nurture, guidance, compassion, grace, etc..) I resonate with this because I desired SO BAD to be apart of the cheerleading team in high school and finally made it in college. I cheered for 2 years and STILL felt it wasn't what I wanted or expected. I do know I was fighting hard to have sisterhood, because of feeling detached from my sister growing up but I found that sisterhood comes when we don't force ourselves into spaces we don't belong. The people who deserve to be in your life will come in divine time. The healing journey is such a beautiful experience and centering yourself in your faith is necessary to make it through stronger and wiser. I'm a mental health therapist and I love therapy yet I strongly believe that the healing journey starts with our faith and establishing a spiritual awakening to find God. The theories, interventions and the wellness practices I think can serve as an initiation to your healing journey to open your eyes to what you truly need, which is God. The true healing is connecting with the Lord and seeing all the things He has done in our lives and the teachings he has in store for our life's path. SO proud of you and I knew I was attracted to your energy on LIB for a reason. You are a beauty. Stay true to who you are.. I wish you well 💕
I’m telling you…. Centering your healing journey in Jesus and the truth of the Word is unmatched. Belonging and sisterhood is something that definitely lead me down the path I chose, but having identity in Christ and knowing whose I am (I belong to the Lord) is ALL I need in this life. I love therapy! Thank you for all you do for people in the world and God bless you🙏🏾❤️✨

Aaliyah, thank you so much for sharing your testimony. I also attended a PWI and remember going to one of the meetings for a D9 sorority I thought I was interested in (that was back in 2014). I was recently baptized for the first time this past Easter and I can say for a fact when God is in your life it's a peace you just can't explain!

I’ve never been in a sorority but I totally relate to the feeling of wanting to fit in during my college years. I tried so many communities and felt so lonely and disposable in almost every single one, and it helped to cause a really long hard depression. I had to distance myself and just spend time in the word to even slightly heal. I even had to leave campus and commute two days a week in my last semester. It truly saved my life. Even now I’m not where I should be, but i really thank God for women like you and for testimonies like yours to encourage me. Thank you so much for sharing it 🤍

Thank you for sharing Aaliyah! Not sure if therapy is in line with your beliefs but I can really relate to having struggled connecting with women in the past. I began learning that a lot of it had to do with my own relationship with my mom. They call it the “mother wound / sister wound”. Just something to look into. Happy healing ❤
Thank you for sharing! I’m no longer struggling with female friendships and relationships! God has blessed me with amazing, mature, and Holy Spirit FILLED friendships and I’m so grateful! The women in my life love God and pray for and with me! I have been restored in that area through prayer, therapy, and personal growth/evolution/maturity! 🙏🏾❤️✨

@@tyrelljordan8271 just keep praying for deliverance! The Lord is so strategic and I’m so grateful He didn’t give up on me! He’s been chasing me for years. He had someone give me a beautiful testimony back in 2020 and I should’ve given my life back to Him then. But we get comfortable living in the “world”. Satan is really good at giving a false sense of comfort. Comfort in the Lord feels better than anything this world and the people in it have to offer!
