I love the darkest border. Then the metallic ones and lastly the purple/silver one.

I agree with you Nadia top left is my favorite and then not adding anything to the edges. With the other three edges my eyes go right to the edges and kinda takes away from the scenery which is so beautiful. I also love what you did at the bottom.

Absolutely gorgeous! I really liked that each one is slightly different and that each one has a different color edging. Doing those things really make this set interesting and it still feels like they are meant to be together.

Boy, those edges are hard. I think the one I like best is the dark blue/black. With that one my focus is drawn to the art. All the others seem to be a tug of war what to focus on the edging or the art. Yup, the dark blue allows you to focus on one thing, the beautiful art!

I just found your site in the last few days and I love everything that you do. I love your creativity as I do on these coasters, given as a gift I think they're very special. I also love the coaster with the black in the glitter, its already beautiful but then you pick it up and see this subtle wonderful surprise which is another awesome surprise and who doesn't like surprises! Next I love the silver metallic which is certainly not subtle but with all those different faceted edges it really shoes them off thanks for another awesome tutorial.

Gorgeous coasters. I like the one on the top left. The others take away from the beauty of the scene. I am allergic to latex so I will have to use Elmer's glue. I have this washi tape and done my own coasters with this design ....

Apropos of nothing, the bandage you're wearing on your finger is an amazing match to your skin tone. ☺️ Oh yeah, I really love the coasters. They even look Christmasy. I definitely like the dark edge the best. In my opinion, the other colors detract from the image. I actually like it best without edging paint.

Hello! I was wondering if you need to seal the washi tape before you put the resin on, or if it’s thick enough paper or glossy paper where the resin won’t discolor it? Everything you make is gorgeous!! Thanks for sharing!

The Washi Tape I use is from TheWashiTapeShop online (discount code liadia10) ... their Washi tape are excellent quality and seem to already have some sort of coating on them so I've never had to seal them myself. I can't say the same for other brands of Washi tape as I haven't tried others.

Question: Do you use this varnish to give most of your items a glossy finish instead of having to add another layer of resin?
No...it's only used for creating the designs, everything is make is topped with at least 1 layer of resin... usually 2.

These are stunning. You are so very creative and artistic in your designs. Btw, would you have the name of the color of the powder/paste you used in the initial slate mold - that blue? goes perfectly with the Vangogh washi tape.

What is the tool you use for cutting the tape while on the resin
It's an xacto knife... very sharp, please be careful

I love the Washi tape used here and the colors of glitter you used, but I really liked them better with no edge painting. I think the silver and gold really looks gaudy and detracts from the design. You see it before you see the actual design. The design should be the focus!
