      She’s not horrible. She just doesn’t understand nor like Amanda. Maybe her mind changed because she didn’t know how to understand Amanda’s personality. Amanda can be too much for some people.

      How is she horrible just because she didn't invite her to a party, haven't you had people you don't care for. They don't have to deal with people they don't want to.

    What is it with us that you would ever tell a black person that they cannot come into a black space. I have always liked Amanda from the first time that i heard her speak. She may come across rough, but it seems to always come from a good place. Some people are just who they are. But none of those people protected her, not even the ones that invited her in and that tells me who all of those people are. I have never heard of Vanessa, but this all sounds like a mess. If no one is causing problems in a space i don't think they should be asked to leave no matter how you feel about them. Issa, i loved Insecure, but when people are behaving badly you should interfere, not to take sides, but to keep everyone feeling safe. We already have to fight to not feel isolated in this world. Shame on you beautiful, smart empowered women.

    I think I get it. Issa and Vanessa liked and respected each other personally and professionally since 2010. Neither of them seem to have “liked” or respected Amanda (although Issa had Amanda’s work on her platform and appeared in her web series “Get Your Life”. It looks like a personality clash. It’s unfortunate but it happens. Just my take after watching *that* interview

    • @catricea68
      @catricea68 Před 20 dny +2

      It was more than a personality clash. Having staff events and only excluding Amanda is unprofessional and mean girl behavior. They are trying to get her blackballed. It's wrong, period!

    • @emmas9928
      @emmas9928 Před 20 dny

      @@catricea68 Excluding Amanda from this *particular* party is the host’s choice. I’m not saying it’s fair or right. It’s 100% wrong, She *should have been included because she is “**#BlackHollywood**”. The truth is that a host can choose who he/she wants to attend his/her event. Amanda KNEW she wasn’t invited, (Jesse can’t invite people to someone else’s party under these circumstances!) I think Amanda would have made a bigger impact by NOT attending. *”Where’s Amanda?”* *”What happened to Amanda?”* *”All of the **#Insecure** cast are here, where’s Amanda?”* *”What’s going on?”*
      This would then put the spotlight on the host who would look petty and mean spirited.
      I must admit though, if I was a Hollywood agent, I wouldn’t invite Amanda to my party! She’seems very self aggrandising, in a room full of gigantic egos, that wouldn’t be fun,

    I wonder who in that group picture put hands on Amanda? Perhaps Nessa should train her bouncers and staff on what constitutes assault.

    The way this woman treated Amanda Seales was just evil. My opinion of Issa Rae has definitely changed after learning how they ostracized Amanda Seales. I have zero respect for this woman.

    • @catricea68
      @catricea68 Před 20 dny +1

      How can we be unbiased when we know they intentionally excluded her from work events that included the entire cast? No matter how they feel about her personally, it was cruel to treat her in the manner they did. Also, she tried to blackball Amanda Seales. It's ugly and unprofessional. She also has a reputation for being vengeful.
