Before his "Politically Incorrect" days, Bill Maher's HBO debut starts out from Uncle Henry's house before he comes out to the Fillmore in San Francisco before a rowdy crowd.
I've never seen this performance before. It was cool to see early Bill Maher.. i even kinda enjoyed the sketch in the beginning. He looks like Uncle Henry now--! 😂
When Bill mentioned Nixon and Carter being the bottom of the barrel, only for Dan Quayle to come along and then lift up the barrel, I wonder what his thoughts of trump being a future president would've been?
I only knew Maher from "Politically Incorrect" and "Real Time," so thought that him doing stand up was some kind of myth. Now I see why he pivoted away from it. Ha, ha! *ba-dun-tsss*
@@SelfReflective I'm not a comedian so I don't give a rat's hoo hah. you're defending a comedian for reusing the same joke for 7 years? comedians today don't even use the same joke after 1 standup show!

Thanks for the upload! Worth a good chuckle.
If someone told Bill that in 14 years he'd have his own show on HBO, he would think that person who told him was crazy.
Imagine him Bringing this hair back now! Lol love it!
Looks like a rockin contestant on Star Search. Where's McMahon?
❤WOW AND WOW!❤ Bill Maher, you really should have been a movie star! I would have fallen for you! This young man so handsome, and such a good actor!
British accent to perfection.
So funny cant stop laughing
@@shirley919 That's the point, isn't it? To make us laugh? I'm glad you enjoyed it.

His Quayle-bashing isn't aging too well
6:o2 of 30 minutes of tripe at the start. No time for Comedians

@@SteveSaxony That's why all those jokes suck. A joke requires honing.
