Hey Jim, glad to see you’re watching these next time you come over there will be a quiz. Hey, wasn’t it great that they sent all those parts out to correct that problem?

What are you using for your workbench top? At first I thought it was the $128 / sheet 4x8 3/4” PVC I saw at Home Depot. Closer inspection, maybe just painted 3/4” particle board? How’s that going? Scratching the metal much? Keep up the great work and videos! I am just starting my vertical stab

Thank you. I thought of using melanin at first because I have it on my other benches but it doesn’t lay flat again after you put a screw in it and take it back out. Particleboard you just flake the little piece away and everything‘s up and running but who wouldn’t love melamine. If I had to do it over, I wouldn’t paint it. Doesn’t like lacquer thinner. Thanks again CPG Good luck on your build.

Ii am a Prof. of Advanced Materials and Construction at a State College and also a previous Pilot & CFI ,FBO but never ha e constructed a plane.
I HAVE constructed [ at GM ] cars, worked with automotive car kit builder ND am very versed in both Train and Marine cknstruction.......my point being the detailed accuracy and yet model assembly your craft brings to bare! The construction is extreemly light yet strong! I would Very much like to have a conversation with you [ after ,if you would watch the video of Jay Leno's Garage where he speaks with the Top Engineer with GM on the New Mid Engined Corvette with a complete one along side a exposed assembly . It's a bit to ask but it would assist in the context of the potential a l of our discussion to follow. I greatfully anticip a te the opportunity of your contacting me ....
    Sincerely, Norman Cook
