  • Today we take a step by step walkthrough on an air suspension installation for Steven’s 2021 MK5 Toyota Supra. Bare with me as this two day install is during a chilly weekend here in Denver, so you do hear some sniffling though the video. His Supra is now equipped with the Airlift Performance suspension, 1/4” 3P management, 4 gallon tank, and dual 444c compressors.
More to come with the MK5 Supra platform, and Ferrari 348 as we near warmer weather and upcoming events!
This is more of a straightforward video, and I hope to upload more in the day of, diy, and changes to the cars. Thank you guys for the support and please comment what else you’d like to see or need help with!

Any reason why you removed the bolt from the back of the rear spring control arm instead of removing the 2 toward the wheel? Most installs I've seen for the Supra - they don't touch that bolt at all.

At 11:22 you can see that there is a different bolt behind the assembly. It’s a special socket needed (six sided bolt, E20). On the initial installation of the white Toyota mk5 supra, i ran into the issue of not having that size socket and had to go on a hunt to find that in order to drop the arm.
I figured it would be easier to loosen and remove the alignment bolts and drop the arm from the inside. I also went ahead and made 2-3 Marks indicating its original position.
Hopefully this information helps and I do apologize, I didn’t think there would be a whole lot of foot traffic on the channel. So I never followed up to see if there were questions about the installs right away.

Great video! What fuse did you tap into?

I ran the ignition tap into the 5 amp fuse at the back of the car, the fuse panel that provides an on and off ignition source to the cigarette lighter. The system may stay on for five minutes after the car is off, but should shut off without any issues.
