Its a nice bike and at first a thought maybe i could ride an s2 as a playbike, but its seems right. Also i think beside the parts on the elite, this is a nicer and more like a cool tank.. Whit all that gold on the s3 im waiting for, bigger chance getting strolen.

We really like the stealthy dark gray, though a bunch of the Specialzed colours are cool. The build on the Comp Alloy is pretty nice. The NX drivetrain is possibly the weak point but Mili has used it before on a rental bike and got on well with it. The suspension is good and its great the fork damper can be upgraded at a later date if needed.
      Enjoy your new bike!

Hello. I am also considering the purchase of the stumpjumper comp alloy. I am 178cm tall, what size do you recommend based on your experience? thank you very much in advance.

Hi Nicola. Thanks for checking out the video. Specialized’s sizing chart indicates a 178cm tall rider could just about fit an S3 and also just about fit an S5. I would guess an S4 would be the right size unless you have a significant preference for a longer/more stable ride (S5) or prefer a lively/more responsive ride (S3). I would call a dealer and discuss your ridding style with them to get a better steer. We found our dealer to be very helpful. I guess you could get a test ride on any given size if you have dealer near by. Good luck!

Great Video! You really did a great job explaining the differences between the two sizes. The S sizing really makes it easy to size up with the short seat tube or run a huge dropper if you size down. Check out my video on the frame set build I did with this bike!

Hey - thanks for the thoughtful comments! I just checked out your video - very nicely done. That’s a very solid build on your S4 - I’m sure you’ll have a blast on it!

Im 165 cm tall with 73cm inseam. Do you think upsizing to s3 with a short stem fit me better?? Asking for your opinion. Thanks

@@raydennismalicay9679 Hey Ray, I think there are two main things to consider here. The first is whether you prefer a more stable ride and more spacious cockpit over a more lively/nimble ride. That’s a question of preference as I think you could ride either size. The other factor is the dropper post and seat height. The dropper on the S2 is 125mm and the S3 is 150mm. Mili just about fits the S2 from a seat height perspective. Thats not to say you couldn’t swap out the dropper for a shorter one if you went with the S3.
I’d recommend calling your local Specialized dealer and picking their brains. In my experience they understand the sizing process really well and will steer you to where you want to be. Good luck!

Loved the vid but the animal noises were making it hard to understand what you were saying, if your kids wanted to put it in then I would leave it in to make them happy but maybe just for the part where the information you were saying was more important than what was on the screen, you could leave the noises out

Hey thanks for the positive review and constructive feedback! We have only recently started making videos so this is very helpful info. We’ll look to dial the noises back! Thanks again.
