2200hp street Falcon by Dandy Engines

- Dandy Engines recently spent the week in Sydney testing with EFI partner Fueltech as well as supporting their own client base. The Dandy team also had one of their own vehicles out in their popular Ford XW. The engine was recently given a freshen up with a switch to an alloy block.
The Falcon is powered by a twin turbocharged Dandy small block Ford Windsor V8 that pushes out around 2200hp. Early passes resulted in a little damage to the exhaust and underbody where it was promptly fixed at ProFab Motorsport Fabrications.
Keen to have a crack at the 200mph mark, it’s a struggle trying to get the power down through stock suspension and on small tyres.

OMG that was intense at the end there. Fucking hell he was lucky to gather that all up. Almost ended very badly. Damn this thing keeps getting quicker and quicker. Proline FTW again ;) Didn't realize Josh the chassis guru worked with FuelTech like that. Wonder how helpful he was to the Aussie racers. Saw someone in the other clip give him a very big hug and a thankyou, must have helped him by the looks of it...

this is the kind of thing I'm wanting to shoot with old film cameras..catching shots of cars like this doing wheelies analogue style just to prove you dont need high tech camera gear to do it...they were some awesome runs..loved it.

Great save, twin parachute needs looking in to tho, I don't think I could do my best if I was worried about deploying the thing before I started. Massive respect to the guys that do this.

As an American, I totally agree that this particular performance freak show needs to come to the States and participate in the annual Drag Week competition. It would be a first class representative of Australia, Dandy Engines and Ford. Drag Week has a huge exposure on live TV along with the print media worldwide. As with virtually all Motorsports events, Ford doesn’t get the coverage that they deserve. A spectacular Ford like this one could grab the spotlight all week long.
Of course it takes a substantial amount of money to bring a car like this to the States for Drag Week but the payouts for a great performance are also substantial. If I was able to sponsor this amazing Ford, I would definitely do so. It would bring the positive exposure to Ford that is needed on a massive scale. Otherwise it’s just another boring parade of Chevys that couldn’t touch this Aussie Ford in competition. 🏁
they found a sweet spot with that dandy engine TT setup.....bigger tires and they will definitely be in the 200 qm under boost it was really hard keeping the nose down ...nice work fellas

Hate to state the obvious, wheelie bars maybe? And smaller chutes with bigger brakes might help with the stopping.
