    When finally adding the premades to the lashes let’s just say the next day do you just do the regular glue dip then add to natural lash ?

    • @LoriKimDesign
      @LoriKimDesign  Před 3 lety +1

      That is a great question and yes, you would pick up your premade fan and dip into your adhesive as you would normally do then apply to the natural lash.

    • @LoriKimDesign
      @LoriKimDesign  Před 4 lety +6

      Leslie Guzman hi Leslie , Great question ! I place my pro-made/ pre-made fans onto a silicon palette like the one you see in the video and the silicone pallet is on a tile .
      The silicon pallet keeps the premade fans laying there pretty secure.
      Just take out a small bunch at a time and use a different clean pair of tweezers just for the purpose of pick up the fans and placing onto your pallet , do not use the tweezers that you are working with on your client .
      Hope that helps Leslie 😊😊

      @LoriKimDesign  Před 4 lety +6

      FierceMf Hi ! I most definitely can show you how I apply them. Usually when applying “ pre - pro- made’s “ , I do side-placement rather than too or bottom. You can even have the base come around the natural lash and wrap around . I would have to do a close up video on that so you could see how! I will be working on creating some new videos since we are all at home due to COVID-19 ! Let me know if you have any other questions or troubleshooting I can help ya out with 😉

      Lori Kim Design Thank you!! Do you have any tips on sensitive clients? Should I premake the fans with sensitive adhesive for my sensitive clients? Or should my normal adhesive be fine since I’m not using as much glue?

    • @LoriKimDesign
      @LoriKimDesign  Před 3 lety

      Regular adhesive should be fine when premaking fans as the advise will be dry ans your clients who are sensitive will not feel the fumes from the adhesive since it will already be cured at the base of your premade fan 😊

    What does the adhesive accelerator do? And why do you mix with the glue rather than applying it to the strip of lashes

    • @LoriKimDesign
      @LoriKimDesign  Před 4 lety +5

      CPLashes Luxury Lash Extensions Hi that’s a great question. I would normally apply adhesive accelerator along the bases of the lashes on the strip when in service , however when just sitting at home or at the salon pre-making , I find that sometimes I will apply accelerator on the base strip of lashes on a certain amount and if I have to stop....once I go back and reapply accelerator on the base again it just starts loosening the extensions off the strip itself and they just fall apart . If that makes any sense . Hard to explain without a visual at the same time . So when premaking I find it’s easier to just tap a very tiny amount into the accelerator and then tap into the adhesive . This way no lashes get wasted from having applied accelerator on the base more than once causing a possibility of the extensions just falling off the strip . 😊😊 some artists will even dip into a bead of water first instead of accelerator, but if too much water is introduced then you can cause shock polymerization at the tips of the base and that’s not good either . Let me know if u have any other questions 😉😉

    • @LoriKimDesign
      @LoriKimDesign  Před 4 lety

      @@samiibarra4236 Hi! The accelerator allows the adhesive to dry faster, making the pre-made fan making easier! You only need the smallest amount. If you dip the base of your fan too deep into the accelerator you can run into the changes of blooming/shock polymerization on the bases of your fan.

    Will the lashes still wrap if you premake them and store them?

    • @LoriKimDesign
      @LoriKimDesign  Před 2 lety +1

      They don’t wrap since the bases are where’s together already, however the base of the lash can still “ candy cane “ or do side placement , especially when placing on the outer corners to really create that “ sweep “ . Let me know if you have any questions and if you need a close up video of how to attach these fans! You still get amazing retention so not to worry!

    Im always worried about retention with premade fans do you feel like they last just as long as making and using them immediately? And do you mind telling me what tweezers your using I’ve been on the hunt for a great pair

    • @LoriKimDesign
      @LoriKimDesign  Před 4 lety +1

      Taylor Tribbett Hey Taylor , good question , thanks for asking .
      Since taking Bordeaux style and Mega Volume lash classes , I have picked up the process of “ pro-made “ lashes .
      You can create them on the fly while doing your set or “ pre-make them “ .
      I like to do this process if I’m going to prepare for a photo shoot set or use these pre-made’s if for some reason I’m short on time . I prefer not to pinch them with adhesive as it just gets your fingers all full of adhesive.
      Since doing this method on some clients , I personally have not experienced less retention within my sets . I do a side placement or under placement still orrrr I will wrap the base around the base of the natural hair .
      The key is , is to make sure that “ when your “ Premaking them or pro-making them is to use a very tiny amount of adhesive their way ur beaded are not chunky with adhesive when you go to attach !
      As for the tweezers , they’re my mini boot tweezers by Val-Yoom , www.wearevalyoom.com and IG is @wearevalyoom if you want to check them out . Affordable tweezer and they’re not coated with any special colour allowing the tweezer to last long and still look great with no fancy colour chipping off . It’s a soft matte brushed silver . The grab of these tweezers are amazing if you like boot style tweezers 😊😊
      Hope this helped answer your questions ! Reach out again if you have more! I’m glad to answer 😘
      Thanks again for reaching out Taylor
