Appreciate the vid John, just got myself a 2015 Corolla S 6spd.
Will be installing this ASAP❤️
Hey, I really like and appreciate how you explain it all and walk us through the installation. I have sent an e-mail regarding my 2015 Corolla.
Doing this for my gf this weekend thanks for the video
this stereo is lit, i have been using the same brand for the past 4 years
@@Gio-zi5lw I don't see the difference between this and the stock stereo
You make it look so easy. Thanks for sharing, now can you do this to my 2015 Corolla S?
Please disconnect the negative battery terminal when working on electronics in car.
I’m curious why need to do that? Can you explain please?, I’m a beginner
@@emiliosanudo4292 Say you are working on something and accidently touch a power and ground wired on the electric part that will cause a short circuit since electricity is flowing freely. By taking off the ground wire the circuit is open and less likely to be able to travel all around he car. so you may short out (if it dose) the part you are working on, but the other electrics will be safer.
@@emiliosanudo4292 You aaaalways disconnect your negative terminal when working on your car unless it needs to be on to perform a specific maintenance task. Even the the alternator is always live as long as the battery is connected.
Great video. I thought there was more to it. Wifes oem stereo stop working and i was looking for a replacement
Beautiful
Is there a video on how to adjust the volume from back seat to front seat and bass
How did you wire the GPS & Microphone?
Hello, I’m buying a Toyota Corolla 2014 and was wondering what Apple CarPlay unit do you recommend now in 2024? I have heard about roadnavi but people are saying it doesn’t last long until problems start occurring.
can you do a guide on how to take apart toyota avensis t27 FL touch 2 with go
hi! i don’t have this particular head unit, but it looks similar. i have a problem with steering wheel controls not working. how can i fix that?
When you press the talk button on the steering wheel does it trigger Siri/Google assistant?
does the autolock feature work if the car never had it before?
How much will it cost me to get this installed in my corolla 2014 S
Link for the best Android car play for 2014 corolla and will it work without problems hearing folks complain about an update problem
HIKITY Adriod 13 and car play 10.1 8CORE 6G 128ROM WIFI BLUETOOTH 1080P is what I ordered for Amazon for $175. I can't wait to get it here. For my 2018 Toyota Corolla SE.
How did you retain the factory back up camera? Which plug was it?
Hey, I got a dasaita for the Corolla it’s a Px6 android 9. Wondering if you know how to update it. Or do you think the Idoing system better?
@johnnguyenvincent am i able to change out the head unit on a 2017 toyota corolla im?
Thanks for this video. One question, do you need to install a mic for phone calls or does every factory thing work including factory mic???
Arent you missing a key piece? Dont you need to cut factory frame that goes under the radio? I just tried to install and the head unit seems to only fit if you cut the entire oem lower part under radio. No go for me. Returning this
Hey John, your videos are pretty amazing and my daughter has a 2014 Toyota Corolla s and I was hoping you could point me in the right direction for a good replacement stereo that would utilize all her original components like the microphone and steering wheel. Thank you again for your amazing videos and knowledge!
@@TTVHASHxJOINTSI was reading the comments on the link he has in the comments and it keeps the factory camera too
I’m having a problem that it goes up to max volume on the radio, but it doesn’t seem very loud. It is only 30 my car used to go to 60 and on Apple CarPlay. It says on my phone that it is only half what do you think?
Dam. Now this looks more modern than a 2023 Corolla, Camry and Rav4 🤣🤣🤣
Did you notice a difference on the sound speaker louder than before
I have same unit. I love it. However I could use an update file. My current is a px6 android 10. I see yours has android 11. How do i get same. Thanks
I ordered a facsia for my Toyota Corolla 2018. I hope it works. I ordered some wire just in case.
I just got mine but the screen went black any ideas
I just bought one, but the unit constantly disconnects and reconnects from android auto. Bluetooth android auto doesn't even work. Any tips or fixes?
Just got myself a Dasaita for my 14 Corolla, thanks for your video it really make it easier. BTW this new unit doesn't need the original 4x 10mm bolts that hold down the radio, all done by just plastic taps. Do you work for the post office? I ask because regardless rain or shine you continue to make this video.
I only have time to record the videos over the weekend l, so rain or shine. I try to get it done, hoping it will help people!
@@JohnNguyenVincent @21:13 you mentioned the Tire Pressure display screen but never got the chance to finish changing it from kPa to psi. Well I never find the setting that allow you to make that change in this Dasaita unit, I guess the Dasaita's Canbus just read it from the car's ECM and Corolla's default is kPA. The OEM TPMS sensor and the receiver only display as a dummy light on the dash and never show the actual pressure, this Dasaita Canbus is able to read and display the numbers. If you have Techstream you maybe able to change it from English unit to Si units.
notice the jump cuts on the hard parts 😅
Hey man, how were you able to get the backup camera working? Mine shows 'no signal' even after changing the camera type in factory settings.
Funciona el micrófono de fábrica ?
Does it have auto connect to your phone?
Lol, this is so much easy than installing in 2018 Corolla.
Have you heard of any issues with it after a few months? I’m seeing mixed reviews but I’m not sure if they are creditable.
This is my cousins car and she parks it outsides in California heat. Today was 113! No issues yet.
How had it held up?
Installed this a few days ago, but my fuse keeps burning from this head unit. Any ideas on how to fix?
The CarPlay is wireless? does it also work through the preexisting USB port underneath the climate controls?
what is the best stereo that you recommend for corolla 2016?
Hello can i ask.
I connected everything but my reverse camera is not showing. Could it be because i dont have a canbus?
I just put this in today for my 2014 Corolla, but my steering control doesn't work at all, any tips?
@the commentor check your canbus setting, add your car make model (in Factory menu password is 3368). Mine was XP - Toyota - Camry (Corolla) - XP. Check the manual that they sent you. Got my working the other day.
Don't you love them knuck scraps.
Hey can you do an update on the Honda Accord Dasaita install because I heard that the music cuts off when you use the reverse and the camera cuts on. And I also heard that after 1 year of use it stops working. I want to know everything before I purchase anything for my car
Is this device android wired or wireless
Would I be able to install a custom AMP or a subwoofer? If so How would I connect it?
@@davidleon1120 I got a Teyes which was very similar to this head unit. There is a single RCA output for the AMP. Then there is a power cable that connects to your AMP it was actually pretty straight forward.
On the 2015 Corolla, which I believe you worked on in this video, the VENT control gets stuck on one setting. Mine is stuck on face level, leaving my feet to freeze. Can you do a video on fixing the VENT CONTROL on the 2015 Corolla?
500 bucks is actually crazy bro
I didn’t expect it to be over 500$ lol
Could you maybe next time actually use Apple car play?
I need to know the refresh rate on the screen is good and responsive
Did you have issues with your phone after installing this? They spy on us too much.
Why is the Dasaita so much more expensive than identical looking ones on Ali and eBay? There are some that are around $120-130.
Usually the shell is the same but the big difference i noticed is motherboard, display quality and what capacitors they use.
Other things note is if it has android auto/car play, CPU, Ram, Storage, if it includes all the adapters to retain your oem usb port.
@@JohnNguyenVincent Thanks. Do you lose any GPS quality by not installing the GPS antenna?
@@jazzbuckeyeI’d assume you do for the unit’s maps app, but not a problem if you use your phone’s GPS via CarPlay/Android Auto 🤔
I don't care for Apple and want Android Auto. Anyways, Toyota refreshed the Corolla for the 2017 model year but didn't update the infotainment system, just the look in front. You don't have to take to apart the entire dash to change the infotainment system. All you have to do is just the plastic piece of in the center.
I should've bought that brand. Seicane harness sucks.
which one is better? daisata or IDoing?
Both are great. Each of them has a slightly difference in features from my testing.
it can get better believe it or not! all you have to do is get rid of the screen and have actual buttons and knobs!
steering wheel controls still work! So That's all the buttons we need!
Worst tutorial video. 😂. Got sick of watching it
oooo that harness design is slick, makes it look super easy for install
