If you've ever wanted to see what a powerhouse of human intelligence, ambition, and hard work ethic looks like look no further than McLaren. McLaren as a car brand has had a rich history of racing backing such drivers as Senna and Prost in Formula 1, and creating legendary machines just as the McLaren F1, McLaren P1, and now the incredible McLaren 720s. For just one 720S to be completed it takes 250 man hours of work from start to finish and it really shows. The factory floor is unlike anything I've ever witnessed by a car company. So what is it like visiting McLaren? Let's go for a stroll in their headquarters and find out. Thanks for watching! - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Hey dudes, I appreciate all of you stopping by and watching this video.
CZcams is giving me a very hard time lately and I hate asking, but please consider sharing this one. Thanks so much and love you guys.
I had to resubscribe, everyone's videos still come up in the subscriptions tab, but youtube seems to be unsubscribing me from a lot of channels, not sure if it's happening to anyone else. Keep up the great work David! love your channel and the content you bring to us!
Awesome video David! I didn't know the cars were hand built! Will share the video!
Great job on the video 👍, been a Mclaren fan since the F1, and a Senna fan since early 90's , Seen and read how they build cars but it must have been amazing to be in that building !! I would love to go there one day but until then I'll just have to nerd out watching videos like yours , keep up the great work man !!
Where can I find the documentary about Senna you talked about in this vid
Evan Martin it’s on the prime video app, It’s called “ Senna “
6:12 something fell off the senna.
Nation Gurung haha your right
probably just some insignificant piece that would cost 6k to replace.
many pieces fell off. play it over and over you can see debris scattering behind and next to the mclaren, wonder what it was
Not only does something come forward from the car, if you look to the right something to the back also. And you see the whole wall shake as they hit it, SOMEONE DID SOME DAMAGE!!!
LOL, i came to point this out also. The guy guiding the driver out stops him as if he screwed up and the car goes in reverse.
Bro that dude driving that senna at 06:12 really just hit that wall 🤦♂️
Hope his boss doesn’t see this video 🤣
I think a 'how it's made' type of title would give this vid the views it deserves
Guess it worked haha 😂
🤣 good idea Jon, the title is the reason I clicked the video
TheCarGuy18 good idea
Hey David, hats off for the insane Production Quality lately! Your documentary work really has become pro-grade. Keep it up !
Next upload:”that dude in blue buys 720s”
i would !
Nah, hes not that rich
might as well try for a ford gt instead!!
David, this is by far my favourite videos you have made to date. Not only have you maintained a spectacular production quality throughout, but you also showed one of my country's last auto-makers at their best. The hat is truely off to you sir, and hopefully your trip to the UK has persuaded you to visit again, but to view our modified car scene. I would reccomend coming to goodwood next year, organising a meet with fans or something of that nature.
David this is awesome, I am glad one of your bucket list items came true for you. Watching this made me a bit teary eyed. You always know how to make something as simple as steel, carbon fiber or petrol come to life.
Excellent Video David. Deserves 1M views.
CZcams for months:
CZcams 10 minutes ago: Dude you remember ThatDudeInBlue?
So frustrating. I’ve been trying to get in contact with them but no avail.
Yeah for real lol I followed you on Twitter cause I saw that you post the vids there as well but this is the first time in a minute that it's actually popped up on the front page for me lmao
Excellent video by the way, man, it's so cool that youre able to do this kind of thing
By far one of my favorite videos. Keep it up!
Only 250 hours? Ha I have more hours into fixing my car
So does every McLaren after a year of ownership.
@@BillyIdol23 🤷♂️🤣
BillyIdol23 he’s the goat 🐐🤝💯
the difference is your ls swapped civic isnt an engineering masterpiece despite what you think lmao
You must be bad at ¨fixing¨ it then if you have to spend all of that time on it while these guys are building masterpieces.
I love the way this video was edited.
I Wish that all your videos were like this.
Obsessed with perfection. Loved the video man! Always a great watch.
Absolutely love this video.. truly inspiring!
Wow, superb video. Camara work, narration, production values - all spot on, thanks for sharing.
Love your voice overs man you're really good at it
That was a work of art, David. Seriously beautiful video.
Favorite video from you so far, honestly, appreciate the work you put into making this video. Currently smashing the share button!
6:13 WTF just shot out from under the car? lol
If you look closely, you can see the driver also hit the side panel/wall and the two guys were examining the car right after.
the warranty...
By far, the best video of yours I ever watched
Love this video! You killed it!
Gorgeous video! Great work!
this one was a banger david!
Awesome photos in depth pure McLarens old and new! Sweet!
Very nice production value on this one David.
Great video and insight! I was there a few days ago myself in fact
One classy video....great job Dude...👊😎👌
Cinematic in this are A1. Well done, David.
Very good cinematography David. This is absolutely next level.
I have never seen such a beautiful factory in my life.
Its moreover like a science lab from of sci-fi movie man
Shared, love your videos. Hope CZcams keeps going well for you

Early af. Notification gang. Great vid David. Love the tour.

You really need to make more like this. Bravo.
This is an amazing Vlog! So well done. I still lust over the 650LT.
Drew D'Alesandro 675LT?
Seriously good shit here man!!
Dude! That was great! Really enjoyed it. Awesome cinematography. When is yours getting delivered? :)

Awesome video!
Great video brother!!!
mann one of the best videos about mclaren 720s
Great video 👍
Great video
Wow dude congrats on 1 mil subs!!!!!!
bluedude is like carfection/petrolicious + car vlogger style:D sicc!
Holy cinematics batman
This is dope
I really enjoyed this video
i keep on thinking of salomondrins senna whenever i see one
Great video, bro.
That was nice thank you
That montage was incredible.
Everything about this was sick.
You were in the uk again and and didn’t get to meet you. Next time you are here would be great to meet you and maybe show you a bit more of the UK’s car culture.
Sweet video
Incredible
Awesome!!!
This video was bliss! Just bought a 2019 McLaren 570S Track pack as well, what a magnificent car. What was the song you used in the first shot of the factory floor? Had a very Tron like feel.
Thank you for sharing. To see how cars used to be made...and still are, head to Malvern Link Worcestershire. Morgan factory tours are available where you will see them cut a sheet of aluminium by eye, take it to the ash frame and hammer it into shape. Now that is hand built.
I have a newfound perspective on Mclaren now as well. What a sight to see.
I seen a really beautiful Mclaren today!!
One word, "AWESOME".
Typo @7:28, should be Gordon Murray. Great video!
Why are none of your vids getting over 100k the production quality has been awesome this is why I hate youtube sometimes.
This was awesome! Please do all other popular car brands! God bless all!🌈🙏🏽🕊👑🔥♥️💯
The people working at the Mclaren workshop are as stunning as the cars they build.
720S is such an amazing car!!!!
I am still shocked at how striking the F1 still looks even today. I still remember playing this game in which I always thought the Lamborghini Diablo was the fastest car, it wasn’t
I don't know what's tougher. Building the cars, or keeping everything spotless .
6:12 the senna scraped the wall bad
How much if I buy the kit version and put it together myself with thr option of no engine so to put in my own drivetrain of choice?
Crazy.
Its always been my dream to goto the Mclaren technology centre one day! It would complete my life
Seeing a Mclaren F1 (or even the LM) in real life is already a dream come true lol
Would have been cool to have had a meet over in the UK. Could have driven some of the best roads in the country and held a static meet after.
kieran rees too right, a lot of people would have definately turned up
Hell could have used one my cars to drive round in
"An hour and a half outside London"
Because London is the only place Americans know in England 😅
Moss Its true tho😂🤷♂️
Thanks you for posting this AMAZING VIDEO. My favorite McLaren is the 720 S.
So 10 Days(Slightly More) Can Get You A Supercar? I Don't Know What The Average Time To Build A Supercar But I Think That Is Impressive! Anyway Nice Video Mate!
This is real 'made with love'
Nice Car 😍😍🤟🤟🤟💓💓💓
Can anyone provide name or link to factory montage music? Thanks in advance
Cool
3:35. 😍
Very good video! It’s a shame the US service techs don’t share the same obsession. My 12C has been serviced by 3 different dealers and I’d rate their quality control below that of a corner auto repair shop. I had to correct many problems that were the result of poor service.
Damn David. Your movin on up😮👍👍
6:10 lol the Senna hits the wall panel and probably damaged it's side skirt cus a piece fell off at speed. RIP that employee.
Their dealers mimic their factory to a T. Especially the cleanliness principle.
The last stylebender has one it’s freaking mean
Notification gang but you changed the title lol
Modern McLarens are great cars and i know they put a lot of work in them, but if CZcams has taught me anything with some McLaren owners, is that they're the most unreliable super cars in the world 😅
120k in repairs under warranty for hoovie
4:08 Him using a polisher at that angle gave me anxiety. And a rotary polisher nonetheless.
Gonna burn threw the clear doing that right on the edge of the lip. Guess they save on cost by paying the detailers 10 bucks an hour
That's not a paint station, so they would be actually removing the clear coat as they must have found a defect. That part will go back to the paint booth.
The dress at 4:52. Wow!
McLaren is certainly supremely impressive. As pristine as the facilities are and how fastidious everyone appears to be, Chris Harris has mentioned how McLaren build quality (in particular the 720S when he drove a recent example) has been slipping lately.
7:33 the best
"Obsessed", let me say now that ive built their cars for the last 2 years that every employee is stressed, overworked and pressured everyday. Shame that the public only see the batcave side of mclaren
Wonder if that is why reliability has been suffering. It takes happy focused employees to keep up safety and quality.
@@ehiracheta It might do. But we follow exact instruction from Engineering and we have to sign off each step. We are all still waiting to hear if we have jobs or not at the moment
@@cmoore42 Wish times were better for everyone.
Don't work there then
@@pb6198 2 years late to the party 😬
Seriously somebody needs to @carlossainzjr and @landonorris this video
Can you imagine working day after day making these, only to never be able to afford one yourself...
I'd shoot up the place
Not true, McLaren wages are extremely fair
@@pb6198 well the average pay is 120k which is definitely a good salary (I just looked it up). But still not enough to afford to buy one. The site says the director of sales has the highest paying position at 206k. Now he could afford one.
Lovely video and all but if they're so meticulous why do their cars have so many quality control and reliability problems?
Their is a secret room where many F1 cars are placed. Please make a cinematic on that too.
Making that Hollywood $💰💰👍
