In this section, Lauren actually makes it clear that she doesn't want a committed relationship. Tristan probably wants more but has to accept Lauren's wishes. Later he kisses another girl and Lauren freaks out, why? Later, when something is brewing between Tristan and Muffin, Lauren intervenes again. Why is she doing this if she doesn't want a permanent relationship with Tristan? I think she has strong feelings for Tristan but doesn't want to admit it to herself.
