When he starts that solo and gets the standing ovation.... I get goosebumps EVERY TIME I watch it, and I usually get teared up. Fucking amazing.
These Irish boys still rocking it for over 40+ years!!
This is Crazy ! Larry , Adam , Edge And Bono ,The Greatest Rock Band of all Time
The GOATS U2 🐐
What a performance! Glad that Bono asked the crowd to stand up at the end because this tune deserves to be played with a huge crowd going insane with him.
I'm glad they chose to play this one particular song at the Induction. It's the classic Edge sound and reminiscent of earlier U2.
Rock on Edge. Saw U2 in concert 3 times.
I still remember the first time I heard it I felt like I had known in my entire life
The band polished over decades to shine and sparkle like diamonds. 57 Les Paul gold top sounding like cream and the chemistry and timing of the group coming off like clockwork. Bono working the room like a magician. Catherine zeta jones eyes sparkled like magic when he touched heads with her. Rock royalty humbled and paying homage to a master frontman. The song is no less than the New Testament come to life.
The Edge always does those effective “b” string solos….They all sound amazing (Sunday Bloody Sunday, The Fly, Until The End of the World)..
"One" also.
Amazing performance the timing with the bottle was perfect
I keep coming back to this video and every time it still makes the hairs on my arms stand up !! The Edge....that guitar !!
Boom 💥
masterpiece the best of rock band of the planet
I’ve always enjoyed the song. It’s on the best album they’ve ever made(Achtung Baby)...
But it wasn’t until it finally hit me that this song is a conversation between Jesus and Judas that took it to an entirely different level.
“waves of regret..
waves of joy..
I reached out to the one I tried to destroy..
He said ‘wait till the end of the world’”.
When they wrapped the 80s and said that they were going to chop down the Joshua Tree… They sure did it with songs like this.
Brilliant live performance
❤ agree
In my top 5 favorite songs of theirs, each member shines, incredible bass line and The Edge is on 🔥with that solo
It's my fave!
The Edge gave everything
This is just perfect…the lyrics, bono voicing them, edge on the edge, Adam on the deep bass and Larry going all out on the drums esp towards the end…not to mention the setting, audience and the occasion! Can’t get any bigger than this.🥰😘
One of the greatest live performances I ever seen.
Watch the video of their 1983 show at Red Rocks in Colorado. OMG.
Amazing how this band can play rose bowl in the claw with all its production to a one amp stage sounding like a garage band. Bono's champagne timed perfectly to the song transition. Wow
One of the best performances for rock and roll hall of fame, U2 on fire 🔥 🔥🔥
The EDGE is on fire as usual.
@@shaykatz5648 Always, its not surprise ;)
Larry’s drumming and Adam’s bass playing provide the musical foundation for Bono’s voice and the Edge’s guitar playing.
The best rock band ever! ❤❤❤
Powerful 😮
So over the top it’s fucking genius
The very first time I head this song, I knew it would be 1 of my favorite U2 songs !
It was and still is. U24Ever !
I’ve always enjoyed the song. It’s on the best album they’ve ever made(Achtung Baby)...

I find most of their songs on a biblical way!!!
In my dreams, I was drowning in my sorrows, but my sorrows they learned to swim...
Incredible, right?!
While holding that bottle.
* chefs kiss *
The most beautiful woman in the world Catherine Zeta Jones!!!! Best band ever!!
This has got to be one of their best live versions of this song ever
damn close
should have millions of views , a shame
Love The Edge! I saw U2 in concert 3 times . 1st was The Joshua Tree Tour.
Great performance
U2 Masterpiece 2021😎
The Edge monster 🔥🚀🎸🎶
Masterpice U2 !!!! 2040 !.......?❤️🔥🔥 Fodaaaa 🇧🇷🇧🇷✌️✌️🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Insane performance of excellence
nothing short of brilliant
That guitar solo...
Absolutely!!! If you ever heard they're cover of Night and Day from '89-'90 you can see The Edge was starting to experiment with a different sound. And when Achtung Baby came out I was blown away. The brilliance of changing your music up and still being relevant. Remarkable!
Undoubtedly, the best pop rock band in the world or at least Irish!
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!
Forever u2!!!!
I am in awe!
Epic performance, epic song!
This song transcends to something else. Certain guitar solos take your mind to another place and I believe this one does. Like David Gilmore on Time and Robby Krieger on Light my Fire. It's something special.
so very good. listen to the echo in the last guitar riff, like, well, an echo of some sound in forest, something letting you know there's mystery, beauty,.... quite a thing, just noticed this after hearing this version specifically 100s of times... listen to the end.
....A "MUST" listening assignment to every kid 35 and under !!! This is how it's done folks.
I know it's formal....but you're watching U2. This audience doesn't know what they're getting.
They still have better reactions than what today’s audience would have. I can just see it now blank faces and fake smiles.
Bono haciendo un Bono, lo amo!!!
Superb performance!! …Edge’s tone is the best I’ve ever heard for this song wow! the drums (crash cymbals) sounded off tho
great performance, i love this song :)
I love this band
One of their live banger
Ladyes and gentleman...U2
EXCELLENT !!!
MAGNIFICENT
Epic
The Edge is really cool.
Such a damn great band.
Beautiful perfect.
Dallas enjoying in the back. nice :)
Lindo demais 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
In my dream I was drowning in my sorrows... but my sorrows they learned to swim.
They make great look easy.
The way Zeta Jones melts...its amazing
Simply unreal.
1:29 Γύπα Bono, κατευθείαν στην Catherine Zeta Jones ...
he didn't want to sing that part to a guy.
Vaya pasada
Great alt band.
Y Love you Forever u2
Complete tour de force here
❤
🖤🖤🖤🖤.
❤️🔥
Kick add good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I cannot hear this song loud enough or long enough
unreal
1:25 - thats Robbie Robinson i think!
RIP
Awwwe sum
i think this has something cut out from the original. I have the original on a vcr tape
j/espere pas ;si un jour/ il faut et penser :a manquer un des quatre musicien edge ou bono si le groupe s.arretera pas de jouer u2 toujours un bon groupe
Edge makes a mistake at 1:00 in what otherwise is aperfect performance. 1 fact to point out is that this song is the only one that remained constant in what are maybe the 2 grestest awards that U2 has achieved, this one and the outstanding achievement award at the Brit awards.
It is one of their top 10 songs. Post Joshua Tree that is.
3:02 as well. But that may not have been his fault because I believe Bono screwed him up by getting his left hand wet. So he had to dry his hand. Fkn Bono😆😂
Why cant new music be like this not mumble rap and wap and whatever else crap being made in 2021
Sobiv sorav soovitus. 🌜🔥🌛
U2 acabou na zootv!!
why is there a guy playing guitar off stage?
He is Edge's guitar tech Dallas Shoo..... He is standing there with the guitar that Edge will use in the next song to be performed.
@@hasinurrahman4952 oh thanks, i didnt know that. Wow they have a kentuckian working on their guitars and amps, that pretty crazy
Te he remachado la bebida
What is the difference between Bono and
Jesus Christ… Jesus Christ does not walk around Dublin telling everyone he is Bono. I love how the Edge is telling everyone how
They are all guilty of taking themselves too seriously after Bono just spent 15 minutes taking himself way to serious. It’s only rock and roll so get on with it.
Edge took a mantle from David Gilmour, each singing thru their instruments in a way that brought us closer to God.
Some hair transplant all the same.
Bono's worst hair 'style'
This U2 cover band sucks, love this song but they just destroyed it.
MASTERCLASS !! The Edge....that guitar !!.............................
Hey, it's BOZO, the singing clown!
Its the best rock band hall of the time
The only Bozo is your Orange Clown and he's going down.
Why comment?🤷🏼♂️
ESTO ES UN GRUPO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
