I hate how some dirt sheet sites tried to make it seem like Matt Riddle went into business for himself at the end, he didn't. It was a surprise rollup, he wasn't heavily damaged by the match and he left.
Tbh, Riddle should have won. The fact Riddle lost belt after 49 days is a bit of an insult, he should have definitely had at least 160 or 200 day reign with the belt before dropping it, his matches were very good and he has the biggest name recognition out of anybody there besides Jon Moxley.
I DONT THINK HES SIGNED TO NJPW SO HE WOULDNT HAVE THE BELT THAT LONG ANY WAYS... JON WAS ACTUALLY STILL UNDER CONTRACT WITH NJPW WHEN HE JOINED AEW SO THEY TRUSTED HIM MORE WITH THE BELT
And tbh, the njpw TV title should be held by someone under njpw contract. Riddle is not, and maybe njpw is preventing themselves from having a problem in the future.

They should be putting this belt on a younger talent that's exciting to watch wrestle, they need new stars
@BoliveiraNTPW Jon Moxley isn't signed to NJPW at all. He only has a handshake deal with them and he flat out admitted it after beating Tetsuya Naito for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship........
So yeah, it's an insult and it makes zero sense they took the belt off Riddle like that so soon. Even Dolph Ziggler/Nic Nemeth is holding the IWGP Global Championship yet he is signed with TNA Wrestling.

its very japanese style. Somehow its unique and focus more towards the in-ring performer. Different from other US shows but not worse just different and nice.

That's an example of what marks are....they think they know everything about the business just because they watched a couple shoot interviews....the sooner you realize as a fan the magic is in the mystery, wrestling gets so much better to watch.

Sounds like u unfortunately read to many dirt sheets. Someone else said it perfectly before I had a chance to say it, which is basically wrestling is so much better when u aren't doing that. Hell I'll go a step further and say doing that actually ruins wrestling for me. It'll make anyone jaded toward it because as much as u say those ppl those marks think they know everything ect ... That's the way u are to them. Don't be one of them is my advice to u and for better enjoyment of wrestling.

I like NJPW because NJPW is famous for its hard-hitting style, known as Strong Style. Wrestlers incorporate elements from mixed martial arts, judo, and jiu-jitsu into their move-sets and unlike wwe NJPW matches are not overly scripted like WWE. In WWE, agents often put together matches move by move for most wrestlers, which isn’t common in other promotions.
Each to their own preferences. I like both products to be honest, unique in its own presentation. AEW tried to be both but i think its good to stick to one style.
