Yes, the lamb was supposed to have the same flavour as the potatoes haha the piece of lamb might've been too large. I usually make some cuts in it, rub the marinate inside as well before putting it in the oven and then turn it in the oven so it's always moist and coated in the sauce as it doesn't completely dry while it cooks. But yes, the potatoes are just amazing

I love a banana peanut butter brownie mugcake, it's literally just one banana mashed and mixed with two tablespoons of peanutbutter (or other nut butter) and two tablespoons of cocoa powder (I prefer darker than nesquik). I've added a few oats in the past and loved that, but you can also add some chopped nuts. And you can bake it to your preferred texture.
I've also made a pb and jelly mugcake that was really good and not dry at all. There are some good mugcake recipes out there!

The way your mum nitpicks on the cut of lamb reminds me of my mum. Haha mums are all the same around the world. Greetings from Malaysia.

For Indian food/ curries you have got to get yourself to the grainmill in Thornton Heath on the london road. I went with my mum back in August when I was staying at my folks in south london and it was awesome experience. I think you’d be so fascinated by all the different flours and also some great (maybe a little spicy) snacks!!

When dishing up cooked rice always use a fork to fluff the rice, otherwise it will look sticky if you use a spoon but when resting time is up just lightly fork the rice before dishing up! Xx just what I was told. Works for me.xx loving the videos Grace, keep them coming ! 💞🤣👍👍👌👌🤞🍾

If u add butter to the rice before u put it on the hob then it doesn’t come out sticky

So the Mexican chicken soup I made a very similar version a good few years ago for a girl guide sleepover I was running. It was done as part of an international night. We had an alternative incase the girls didn't like the soup which was pizza. Well first time in my whole 17 years of being a young leader/leader in guiding and the kids passed on pizza and had seconds on the soup! We had to throw away pizza but had no soup left! Crazy. Since then we make it when going camping also as it's so simple to make on a campfire for 20-40 kids and they all love it they usually pull a face at first but then are desperate to have it again.

hey girl, a tip, for ethnic ingredients go to smaller corner shops like indian, asian and turkish shops - they will sell the spices and different ingredients u need more likely :)

I don’t live in the UK (MUCH further north), and this is what I do in order to make my home country’s dishes. These shops are directly translated to “immigrant shops”, and are a staple for my “immigrant” meals 😂.
