cool place to watch trains. I've been to Westmont countless times for family. I don't drive so I always took Amtrak to and from Michigan. Because they both worked, and had a kid, they couldn't always drop me off at a specific time. I'd go to the Westmont station and watch trains from there and then take the last downtown express to catch Amtrak. Great place to watch trains. There used to be a restaurant, though it's been decades, that had good breakfasts, so I'd just have breakfast there sitting at the windows to watch trains, especially when it was raining or cold.
