Prince William is the prince of Wales and now owns the duchy of Cornwall. There is no fear that he will be broke at anytime in his future. He has enough money to support his family and pay for princess Catherine's clothes. 😃
She alters and recycles and buys off the peg. The royals are not grifters, they do not accept free gifts, which you would know, if you were British, not just bitchy.
No, she doesn't get them free. That would be unfair to all designers. Many of her clothes are re-wears so she makes good use of them. i.e. yesterdays dress was seen at Ascot, last year and before then as well. Today's might be a re-wear.

The only one worthy of the Queen title. I think the late Queen made a mistake allowing Camilla to wear a queen consort title. Since I watched the consort in the coronation ceremony, I strongly dislike her!
I do find myself wondering why I feel uncomfortable whilst watching Queen Camilla. Even her name seems odd. I am sure she may be a very nice person, yet her appearance appears, quite frankly, rather frumpish.
The Coronation did not do her any favours. She looked gloomy (perhaps nervous), and not very regal. Her two attendants.seemed out of place.
My daughter thought they all looked very odd too. All the white dresses looked the same, very ordinary.
