Mujahid Hussain, a scholar of Islam, speaks on the tragedy of Muharram

Mujahid Hussain who has been running the Olive Hospital for the last several years is an accomplished scholar of Shia Islam. He has studied religion in the renowned Iranian city of Qum for a dozen years.
Muharram, the first month of the Islamic calendar is known worldwide for observing the martyrdom of Hazrat Hussain Bin Ali, the second grandson of Prophet Muhammad. He was the son of Hazrat Ali Ibn Abi Talib and Hazrat Fatima, daughter of the prophet. He was martyred in 680 AD century in Karbala, Iraq by the army of Yazid.
Siasat.com spoke with Mujahid Hussain on the tragedy of Muharram.
Mujahid Hussain, unlike many other scholars has a different and broader perspective on the tragedy which he shared with Mir Ayoob Ali Khan during an interview. Here is his opinion.
