How to Squat WITHOUT Piriformis and Sciatica Pain

  • Many people dealing with lower back pain, butt/glute pain (Piriformis Syndrome), or sciatica (sciatic nerve pain down the leg) - commonly from a herniated disc - often find themselves unable to workout or squat the way they are used to... but does that mean they just can't squat at all? Of course not! Contrary to what most people have been led to believe... there is NO perfect squat form. In fact, the only form of squat that is "correct" is the one that feels best for you and your body. If you're in pain, it's time to begin experimenting to find ways to keep yourself active.
    In this video, I share with you 37 squat or movement variations so that you can begin thinking outside the box and testing to find what feels best for you.
    Now, keep in mind, these movement "tweaks" don't have to be used forever... but instead, can be used to keep you strong and moving while your body heals and symptoms resolve.
    Remember, the goal with any injury is always to stay as active as possible and I hope that some of these squat variations help you do just that.
