This was hard for me to watch. I know growth is called progress but it is very sad for me to go back to Keller now. I lived on 1709 across from the rock gym. The highway eventually took my parents home. I miss the old Keller where everyone knew everyone else and you never met a stranger. I'm sure people today in Keller can't relate to that but those are the best memories of my life.

That is the Keller I remember from when I was in grades 6 thru 8 in the mid-to-late 1960s. It hardly resembles this today with all of the progress over the past 40 years. Dairy farms and ranches are now housing subdivisions. I loved the time I lived in that area, and had to leave a lot of really good friends when my dad was transferred out of the state in his job. Small town Keller will always live in my heart.

2021, and I now been here 7 years, it's awesome to see the change and still see some of the remanence of where buildings use to be. thank you for this history lesson.

We moved to Keller 7 years ago and already had witnessed significant changes. I always wondered how this area was 30 or 40 years ago. Thanks for this video.

Great film! i moved to Keller in 1993, partly because of the evident planning that had gone into the community. I am sure that both the city and the Keller Library would love to have copies of this for their archives.

Awesome to see the little Keller I grew up with. All the fields and woods I grew up playing in, all paved over now. BTW, Puppet, I lived just up the hill from Mt Gilead, on Oakhill.
