Funny, I've been spouting off the words "Be Here Now" since reading the book Ram Dass during my LSD daze of the 1970's...But awakening didn't happen until mid 2019 at 57yo. So much for conceptual enlightenment. 😆 WARNING! If you enjoy life and you are not enlightened I would recommend you don't search for it ... your life will be over and meaningless once you arrive HERE. No fear means no desire, no ambition, just goin' with the flow.......♾

This makes sense and it also doesn't make sense. Which means it's probably true. Because most things that are true both make sense and don't make sense.

I agree with all this, yet what if in the future there is a good possibility that you’ll fail at something because it’s happened multiple times already? Kind of a PTSD thing. Sure I could avoid thinking about it and living in the now but it’s likely that in the future this feeling of failure might come about unless I prepare more for it so when and if it comes, I can handle it.
