It's pretty sad that the composer, Yushi Matsuyama of the first Mobile Suit Gundam series had died today on the same day that the first episode aired 38 years ago. He has produced a really iconic ost for the original Gundam series and it's a shame he had to die in a really tragic way.
I like how it adds the main Gundam theme into it, most villians in shows don't get that and it kind of gives the feeling he's an "on the fence" kind of villian.
The Track is called Gallant Char, but it played whenever the White Base crew went to battle. Particularly Amuro and Gundam. Char wasn't always present.
Most notably, the first time we hear it is when Char enters the colony to try to take evidence or destroy the Project V stuff and is then fleeing through the elevator doors near where the White Base is.

Tracks like these may sound out of place by today's anime battle standards, but back in the late 70s and early 80s they were fucking bangers for watching dudes battle it out in giant robots - or in the case of Fist of the North Star, hitting each other's pressure points.
